New York Food Court
“I ended up getting a spicy stir fry of different meats and veggies from So Incredi-bowl and a honey lemon green tea from Happy Lemon.”
“One of the stalls in Flushing Mall sells the same thing, but this place gives you more and tastes fresher.”
“First of all, considering the way Flushing has become, being near the Skyview mall is a plus.”

Got tired of eating at the New World Mall? Then this is the right place to come for!
I didn't know this place existed until I saw fellow Yelpers eating here. Once I came here I noticed different variety of food selection than what the New World Mall offers.
There is this Taiwanese stand that impressed me a lot. I am unable to name the stand because its name is in Chinese. But the food combos it sells are amazing. I believe they are called Tai Bei Hot Pot Combo. They are two dishes that consists of any meat (fish, lamb, beef, chicken, etc) and a hot pot casserole that can be made of noodles or rice.
Anyways, this place is a great place for mid quality, low price, quick, and variety of Chinese food!
Food Court located over near the Skymall – looks to be owned by the same people that run the other large food court under the New World Mall because of the same layout and tables. Food stalls all around the edges and seating in the center. A small parking lot that's free, but can be troublesome to get your car out in busy times.
Lock down seating first if you arrive near lunch. It's a pain to pull around a bunch of family and dishes in your hand otherwise. Szechuan, Lan-Zhou, Taiwanese, and other selections are here – feels a little less diverse than the other food court in Flushing just out of size, but all the basics are there. They could have a better bubble tea shop, though.
This place is good for take-out and they can take a bit of getting used to on the different stalls. Lots of pictures help. Fast food a la carte, and it's pretty good. Bathrooms in the back.
I had heard about the new food courts in Flushing and just had to try it when we visited. I'm so glad I dragged hubby here for dinner! There are so many options to try and we especially liked the 'you pick' Szechuan stir fry places. That's a new concept for us out of towners and it was delicious. The space offers noodles, soups, stir fry, dumplings, and drinks and desserts. Something for everyone. Plenty of communal seating. And I liked that they had someone that went around constantly cleaning the tables so it was a pretty clean space. We had a great dinner trying new foods we never would have tried.
Well lit and clean food court in Flushing, lots of awesome options like Guilin noodles, Xian, Tawain, Happy Lemon, dumplings, mala xiangguo, etc and the list goes on!!! I had to try the Guizhou noodles at the stall at the back. It was good for $7 but the broth isn't quite as concentrated in beef flavor. Wish they would do the hot and sour bamboos to go with the soup.
**Also a good place to catch pokemons**
Cleaner and easier to find seats than the nearby food court in the New World Mall. They have great food stand selections. A good abundance of choices to select from. There was more police presence than other food courts I've been to in the area.
Really good spicy noodles and dry pot options. I'll be back for more lunches.
I am impressed with New York Food Court.
This place has a good mix of different food and snacks from around China. You can basically do a food tour in here with all these different food outlets.
Being relatively new, it is quite clean and organized.
I think the hardest decision is where and what to get as they all looks so delicious!
I'm not sure it's fair to give an entire food court a rating based on a small sampling of its vendors, but upon first glance and taste New York Food Court seems like a solid alternative to the logjam of New World. It's a familiar layout with similar offerings, but it seems a tad cleaner and it's definitely not as crazy, even during a Saturday night.
I tried the jian bing offered at one of the stalls on the right hand side of the court (if you're entering). At $4, it's more reasonable than the ones popping up in Manhattan these days, but I wasn't blown away – it quickly got soggy, and the spicy version was hardly different at all from the non-spicy.
I also grabbed an order of popcorn chicken after seeing some children munching on it on my way out. $5 for a good-sized order, and the chicken was fried right, but it was hardly seasoned and relied on an pinkish sauce that I ignored.
I'm sure there's more to NY Food Court than what I tried on my first time, so I'll be okay returning if I don't want to deal with New World. Some of these noodle stalls in particular look pretty good!
This is insane!! After I have visited this place, my next birthday wish will be that "please bring one to north cal".
There are so many vendors selling different kind of food, since each one is specialized in one kind, they are usually very good. Also, since there are so many choices for the customers, the prices are very competitive and reasonable. I can safely say that I would spend twice as much in north Cal to get similar food from this food court.
