I'm thrilled they opened up a DQ in corona. Located on junction blvd right off the train, is a great to go to spot to kill your sweet tooth craving. The staff made up of most young teenagers are so friendly and helpful when I asked about the menu. So far I have tried the fried shrimp, wasn't a fan, the burger ( was good) and chicken tenders ( my fav). To crave my sweet tooth I order the Banana split blizzard which is absolutely delicious. It tastes exactly like a banana split all mixed in and delicious.
Once your order is complete and they handed it to you, they must present it to you upside down just like the commercial or you get a free dessert the next time you come back. 🙂
The staff keeps the restaurant very clean and the bathrooms are always clean as well.
While the half pound grilled burger was pretty good, I felt the meal was a little smaller in portion then I would prefer. The burger was nice with two beefy patties, fresh lettuce tomatoes and pickles, and what seem like a really fresh bun.
However, my biggest turn off was the price. for a combo and the blizzard, my total was about 13 bucks. I guess maybe this does make sense because it's a famous chain. But I would have rather use that for a more filling meal somewhere else.
The blizzard was nice too, big chunks of snickers, and overall very thick.
Probably won't come back unless I'm craving a frozen dessert or a decent franchise burger.
Nonetheless, the service was very nice, and with the wait-ish service, and the amount of time they took to make my meal, I do appreciate the overall effort.
Being this is THE only location in Qnz decided to get my monthly fix of strawberry milkshake. This place is nice and the staff is friendly. The shake was good, had strawberries in it. Bought a Berry-Pomegranate smoothie for the bf and he said it was good. So we will visit again.
We finally got a DQs in the hood! So my boyfriend & I were craving something sweet & we were also dying to try DQs so we went. Its like a 10 min walk from his house which is not bad at all! The place is pretty decent in size. They have really nice cashiers & they helped me figure out what to get since it was my first time. The place is really clean and the treats were so good! I got a blizzard and so did my boyfriend & I want moree! DQs is def my new fav ice cream spot. They also sell cakes for any occasion which makes me want to get my xmas holiday cake from there. Very happy with the experience. Quick & friendly service equals a happy customer 🙂
