  1. Bacon lovers, get your ass here.

We had a flight of bacon, then I went with the pulled pork sandwich. My dining mates got the bacon lamb reuben and the grilled cheese and they loved their food, too. The $5 happy hour sangrias were yummy and cheap. They even have bacon infused cocktails, which we were not compelled to try. We were in and out quickly enough that we had no problem getting back to Times Square for a musical that night. The service was good, and the ambiance was lively.

  2. A whole restaurant devoted to BACON! YES!

Unfortunately, execution failed. Service was average, if that… Just 2 of us for dinner on a Sunday night, our meals weren't brought out together, even though we'd both ordered our bacon sliders at the same time. Mine were to be cooked medium rare while hers medium well, but mine arrived about 7 minutes after hers. However, both sets of sliders were very good, and cooked as requested. My friend also ordered a sandwich, which she devoured, even though it arrived last, separately, after we'd eaten all the sliders. I'd also ordered tater tots, which came with the 2nd set of sliders, but I wasn't impressed. In fact, I couldn't eat more than three of them. On the menu, they were described as being dusted with bacon-flavored salt, but all I could taste was salt – not bacon, not potatoes, JUST SALT. Worth noting, drinks were pricey here, even for Manhattan. We ordered their summer special – sweet tea with vodka & mint – amazing, indeed, but $15 apiece, and just an average size. I'm glad we tried this place, but I'm not sure I'll eat here again.

  3. Came here for the bacon and beer flight. Stayed for the 90's – 2000's jams. Perfect treat pre-dinner. The staff are a very joyful and playful bunch. Great for sports fans and "ladies who lunch". I like bars that cater to different styles.

  4. I live not far away from here and came here twice, I think I am going to make Bar Bacon as my local bar!

Apart from the fast service and friendly staffs, I love the food here…even though I am pascaterian! I came here once for dinner and once for brunch, both time the food came out great (esp the brussels sprouts, fish tacos and bloodys), people were just really friendly with good vibe.

  5. I have been wanting to come to this place for a while so I finally made it here with a friend for dinner. It was about 7pm on a Friday and it took a while to get seated because the hostess was no where to be found. Once she decided to make an appearance my friend and I were seated right away. Our waiter was super nice and attentive and got us our drinks right away. I ordered the strawberry cider, it was very refreshing. I also ordered the bacon burger for dinner. It was so big I had to eat it with a fork and knife, but it was very good! I found myself picking the bacon off the top of the burger and eating it by itself at points. The bacon was unreal. I could have eaten a whole plate. And the seasoned fried were bangin too. I'll have to bring my dad sometime, such a bro place.

  6. We had an enjoyable experience at this bar! As you can imagine, everything on the menu has bacon in it, even the desserts. Our waitress was great and super helpful. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with bacon and pineapple cole slaw—-so so good! The meat was tender, juicy and full of so many flavors! I didn't really care for the housemade chips as I thought they needed more flavor and mine tasted rather old. I do regret not trying the bacon sample dish where they literally bring out a plate of bacon of different flavors. The table beside us got it and I heard one of them was a 'pecan bacon'! Whenever I'm back in NYC, I will bring my family here!

  7. The idea of this place is cool and in my book bacon is of course amazing.

However the food didn't stand out. The prices weren't necessarily high or reasonable.

Just not a very memorable outing, but no major complaints.

  8. You guys. They have bacon cocktails. They sound strange and against my diet. What diet?!?! When you're at a bacon bar in NYC just enjoy and workout tomorrow. Trust me.

It's a little dingy feeling but also clean. Service is spot on and just friendly enough.

They have chocolate covered bacon. It's perfect. Get it. Now.
