  1. I really dig this place. Very basic bar with scrumptious sausage options- lamb, pork, beef….probably vegetarian too, but I didn't check for that. The toppings are varied as well- , "what you only eat your fries with curry ketchup?" Oh, they have that. No worries.

The bartender was pretty cool and laid back the day we were there, which was well appreciated. The drinks are also reasonably priced. That can be tough in a neighborhood where lots of artisanal cheese is sold. I'm just saying.

No need to dress up, just come to have a tasty beer to couple with your sausages and fries.

  2. Wowzers.  I guess I should not have been surprised that a sausage grill in Williamsburg would be so delicious, but somehow the quality of the food and the variety of flavors did surprise me!

We were there late-night, and I would have eaten the cutting board.  Lucky for me, there were TONS of better options!  Being a vegan (against my will- damn doctors!) I was absolutely thrilled to see a vegan italian sausage and they did it up right!  Peppers, onions, different mustards to choose from and a perfectly toasted/charred bun.  DELICIOUS.

My wife had the cheddar brat and raved about it.  We also got the pickle tray, pretzels, and fries.  Everything was delicious, fresh tasting, and cooked to perfection.  They also offered great beer selections and really good craft sodas (the ginger beer was effervescent!).

Great place, cool spot, reasonable prices, open late-highly recommend!

  3. My roommate hosted a fundraiser here & everyone was great! Every Abita purchase led to a $1 to Mighty Mutts, we got the space for free and were able to have a raffle/silent auction there. There was more than enough room at the bar on Thursday to comfortably enjoy ourselves.

We tried a few different of the sausages with different toppings. The kielbasa was really good & I didn't have to wait at a polish beer garden for hours with hoards of people to eat some kielbasa.

  4. Stopped by on a whim on a Saturday afternoon. What a gem! Perfect for a casual meal. There was plenty of seating during the day- you seat yourself, so it's good for a group. The sausage and drinks selection is awesome. We (my bf and I) got a platter with 2 sausages and split it. It came with a side salad and they were able to sub out the side of baked beans for amazing potato salad to accommodate a gluten allergy. Their condiment station is on point too, so many to choose from for free!- ketchup, curry ketchup, dijon, spicy brown mustard, spicy mayo, wasabi mayo, etc. It was a perfect, immensely satisfying meal. Can't wait to go back with friends!

  5. This place was open late night, yay! We had a group of 6 and got a table by the back. We all got sausages, I think I got the beer sausage sandwich, and really enjoyed them. My mom got a burger and said it was really good. At the risk of sounding old as hell, the music is actually a little loud to have a conversation. I appreciate the grass fed, nitrite free sausages. Will go here again!

  6. *This is a review based on food I tried from TASTE Williamsburg Greenpoint*

Andouille Sausage from Rosamunde Sausage Grill

Don't mistake this halved hot dog as something you would get at a ballpark or from a street cart. The andouille pork sausage packed so much flavor – spicy, juicy, and smokey, just to name a few. Blanketed by a lightly toasted French roll, this cajun sausage was topped with crunchy sauerkraut, sweet red peppers, curry ketchup, and wasabi mustard for additional flavor and texture profile.

  7. Delicious, delicious sausages. I tried the boar — it was savory, and the cherries gave a nice deep, fruity complement. The dipping sauces are all tasty, and I particularly loved the curry ketchup (just the right amount of spice). The atmosphere was pretty mild for a weekend evening, which turns out to be good because then you can snag a table.

  8. The best rum and cokes, delicious sausages, and fantastic brunches.

I can't stress enough how great the rum and cokes are here – rum and cokes are my favorite drink so I have had them in a number of places and Rosamunde's was by far the best. They make their own sodas, and it makes all the difference. Also, the prices are great for a New York area/Williamsburg bar. Plus their sausages, which come in vegetarian options, are delicious; I especially enjoy the vegan chipotle sausage. Did I mention they have curry ketchup and garlic mayo? Because they do, and you can have as much as you want.

And if you want sausages during daylight hours (yes, they serve sausages late into the night too) I would highly recommend their brunch special, specifically the sausage benedict (eggs benedict plus a sausage plus home fries and greens for only $11?!).  We came here almost every weekend when I lived in New York, and I will continue to go here every time I visit.
