No one answers the phone. I've been inside the Domino's store and have seen dozens of calls get unanswered. Your online order will go through, but the delivery will take twice the amount of time that it says on the email. Honestly, it's the only place around me open late so when I'm desperate, I'll go here. But the only way you MIGHT get it faster is to just walk in and order. It'll take anywhere from 10-15 minutes to even be addressed though, since no employee acknowledges you.
wow wow wow. i am so mad.
i ordered yesterday at midnight, food took an hour and a half to arrive
the freakin delivery guy didnt speak english, and after i got my order and gave him a good tip, it turns out he forgot to bring me my sandwhich giving me only two out of three orders
when i called him he played stupid, acting like he didnt know i ordered 3 things
plus my breadsticks were burnt with no dipping sauces given
pizza wasnt anything special, it was something u can find in ur frozen food isle section
i had to call and scream at the manager here to get my damn sandwhich. when it came it looked like it was slapped a few times against the floor, so guess what we didnt eat it anyway.
A Domino's ad popped up on Facebook: 2 medium 2-topping pies (my lady hates it when I call them 'pies'…don't tell!) for $5.99 each. To add insult to injury, the included picture was my go-to: pineapple, bacon, BBQ sauce base.
I pulled up Yelp first and saw my closest Domino's had the highest Yelp rating around at 2 stars.
I propositioned pizza; naturally, she concurred. Locked in my pie, she hers; nabbed her debit card while she was in the shower (seriously y'all, QUIET).
Pies arrived hot and fresh less than half an hour later. I love the overhaul Domino's did on its hand-tossed crust a couple years ago, with the garlic seasoning. Just excellent all around. Frankly, as good as delivery gets in my book.
Now listen. I'm a pizza snob. I get that Domino's is a conglomerate (I have no idea what that means) and probably puts some shitty chemicals into their pies. Even so, they taste great and they're always fresh and prepared well. Two stars? People are holding themselves in unfairly high regard when it comes to their pizza palates. Guys, consider Domino's in the category of cheap delivery pizza. Consider the value you're getting per-dollar. It's great stuff! I'd love to hear some Domino's horror stories–it my over two decades of patronage, I have none.
Also, SPECIAL shout-out to delivery driver (can't remember his name). So damn courteous, kind; kept thanking ME as he handed over the pies.
Ridgewood Domino's is going places.
And no, dammit, Domino's did not pay me for this.
