If you want your dinner to be delivered down the block by 6pm, order by 4. We are literally a few doors down and wait hours for an appetizer and a salad. The food is great but the wait- not so much.
Great diner! Love the cobb salad, omelets, chicken gyro and blt!
Fast delivery service as well if you are lazy and want to stay in.
If you are looking for anything, moonstruck is your place.
I came across moonstruck on Friday night while we were searching for a quick bite. I got chicken soup and house salad which were both decent. The soup was homemade and the balsamic dressing was homemade too which is a plus. My friend got cheeseburger and French fries. The burger was very good but for bread they used loaf bread instead of the burger bun, we thought that was a bit strange, also the cheese seemed like it was thrown on top of the piece of bread and microwaved so it didn't look very appealing. It was overall a decent experience and a decent meal.
Nicely decorated, chic diner but the food, eh. I think the omelets are one- egged, woefully thin. The ENGLISH muffins large and bland pucks of dough. The coffee was ok. The slab bacon was good, I will give them that. Service was good, not sure what all of the negative reviews were about that. The hostess and servers were good.
A great dinner away from grand central and enough away from garment district that the crowd is a good mix. Food is good diner quality, most likely better on a drunken night out. I just had to grill cheese with bacon and it wasn't too greesy.
A decent diner. I enjoyed the BBQ pulled pork burger. It had the BBQ components in place without it being over done – good in a subtle way but nothing to say wow. It was a well put together burger and tasty. It was sweetened correctly ()on the light side), The pulled pork had a soft yet firm texture. The bun was airy and perfectly charred. Three stripes on the top and charred well all around to add flavor and great appearance. It was a pretty good burger with the extra delicious perfectly sweetened pickle with no side taste and tasty coleslaw.
The waitstaff was cool. Though the burger was good, the price of the burger was a little pricier than expected.
This place is open super late and serves your usual diner food. I mean, you're not going to get anything special, but I like how their baked goods section stays open until 1:00am as well. Honestly, their baked goods aren't that great either, but the fact that you can't get something like this on the west coast at that hour makes this place at least 2 stars. Place is huge, though, so you're going to be able to find a seat.
Delicious pastries … The best eclair I've ever had and I have a lot from different places!!! It tasted fresh and clean. Also got a pecan Carmel cinnamon roll … My friends got some of the pie and loved it!
