  1. My Fort Green bagel spot!
You're definitely moving up the list.
Wide selection of breakfast and gourmet deli sandwiches which I have yet to try, this is based solely on their bagels.
Ample amount of cream cheese selections:
    – 3 diff types of jalapeño cream cheese
    – 2 types of lox
and your standard affair of strawberry, tofu, etc.
Wide selection of bagels behind the register:
    -everything
    -sesame
    -poppi
    -whole wheat
    -whole wheat everything
-oh and the infamous rainbow bagel, they got that too.
I personally got the sesame with bacon and herbs and it hit the spot. My friend ordered everything with jalapeños and she was ecstatic too.
Couple tables and a quaint environment perfect for afternoon chat or when looking to get some work done.

  2. Bagel Delight is the only breakfast to go place that I walk by on my way to work and I've found it to be well suited…tons of cold and hot drink options, bagels galore, other baked goods (cupcakes, cookies), and quick service. The staff really hustles things along and tried to get you in and out as quickly as they can. There's also a handful of tables to enjoy your food inside or do some work.  I've recently tried their lunch offerings (sandwiches, salads) and found the quality to be excellent. Would highly recommend for a lunch on the go!

  3. This place is pretty OK. The service and staff are super friendly and nice, and the cream cheese is delicious. The bagels are actually pretty thick though- and not a lot of ingredients that are actually on the bagel. I'm not a fan of bigger bagels like that- but if you are I would definitely pay this place a visit.

  4. This is my jam. Still new to Fort Greene and I know I should be exploring a bit more, but my old man always told me that if you find something great you need to hold it close. So that's what I do with my bacon, egg and cheese on everything bagel, nearly every day of the week.

If you want to go the traditional route, they have enough "schmears" to set your heart alight. Everything's fresh, and the service is quick and efficient. At first I was a bit confused by the ordering process, but I have a tendency to overthink things, so you can understand how I might get confused by something as simple as two lines, one designated "order here" and the other "wait here". I've got it down pat now.

If you're in the neighborhood (or remotely nearby) this place is worth seeking out.

  5. Good bagel, and quick service. For those of you who love options for their bagel toppings, this place is for you. Me, I rather standard cream cheese on my bagel. There are also several good looking options for tuna salads, and they also have a salad bar. My rating wasn't higher than 4 stars for this place just because the latte was not the best at all, which I expected better coffee from a bagel spot. But, given the vicinity to my apartment, I'll be going back for more of their yummy bagels!

  6. La Bagel Delight
    NY BK Fort Greene
    10am Saturday 16th July 2016
    Three Stars

In a quite convenient area, La Bagel Delight is standard above average bagel and deli. I was able to Immediately order a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a Toasted Everything Bagel. I did have to wait for 7-8 people to get their food first. During that time, there were some confused interaction between store and customers. My order was perfect. The bagel was overly toasted giving a strong burnt onion and garlic taste. Both sides had the everything season which was good mix but could have used more salt. The bagel itself was too dense and chewy. The eggs were freshly cooked but have no salt or butter. The bacon was pre cooked but lacked any crunch. The cheese was standard American but not very melted. Overall, it was cheap and filling but not on the same level as other New York Bagel places.

  7. La Bagel Delight serves breakfast, lunch, and old fashioned kosher pastries in a cute section of Fort Greene. The set up encourages you to peruse the vast menu, order at the far back counter,  and take your meal to one of the 14 seats they have or outside. I've eaten in the park, which is nice when the weather is warm.

Prices are cheap, and in line with other old school NYC bagel joints. Two bagel sandwiches plus a coffee run about $10. Service is fast but fairly hands off.

    I've tried:
Sesame flagel with spinach eggs and mozz
    Everything flagel with chicken salad
    Steak egg and cheese bagel
    Tuna salad

Bagels tend to be thick… but with a crisp chewy exterior and fluffy middle.

  8. Been getting breakfast and lunch sandwiches from this place. There is usually a line which makes me a bit impatient, however, the quality is always consistently good. My favorite is the Multi Grain flagel. It really is everything!
