The food is good but not amazing (its hotpot, so not a huge amount of differences place to place, decent selection) however, you can do an all you can eat, all of the shitty beer you can drink for something like $30 on weeknights and $35 on weekdays. Will do again.

This is our go to spot when we want AYCE and AYCD shabu shabu. For $35 (two hour limit), it's worth it (if you're going to drink a lot). The meat is kind of fatty, the fish is okay (we've had better AYCE fish at other spots). They take a while to bring out food so we order a lot in the beginning and more food before we are even done with the food.

I never realized how huge this place was until my first time last week. The wait staff is sufficient and the raw food is presented nicely.Their octopus are actually little baby ones, so cute to eat!! Can't believe it took me this long to finally try this place. We got the half soups, one spicy one regular. Thank god I had the regular one bc the spicy was too much for me.
I really have no complaints. I want to come back here to eat soon. Only thing was we weren't able to finish everything and the waiters kept walking past us and staring which was rude. I was already trying to stuff everything down my throat before we got the check.
Baidu is a large space with three levels, the lowest level has individual burners that allow you to have your own Shabu Shabu pot. The second and third floor have about one or two larger burners per table depending on the table size.
This is one of the few hotpot places that has Kimchi broth. They also have the traditional vegetable broth, Thai style tom yum, and the Chinese spicy broth. You have many options when it comes to picking out what you want to throw in your pot. There are separate meat, vegetable, and seafood sections!
Keep in mind you can choose all you can eat for 35 dollars which includes unlimited soft drinks/light beer. I would only recommend this for people that plan on drinking more than 4 glasses of beer because the food here is fairly priced.
In terms of service, this is the reason why I gave this place three stars instead of four. There were a few times when I had to order things twice after not receiving it the first time and service seems to always be very inconsistent here. It is near impossible to get a refill of water.
If you are looking for a place to accommodate a group of 6 or more for hot pot, this place is probably your best bet since it is one of the bigger hot pot restaurants in Flushing.
This place is ok, though there are far better hotpot choices. I left very full but not really satisfied.
Ehh not the best hotpot place I've been to in Flushing. My party of 4 arrived at around 1pm and there was barely anyone eating inside. The decor looked nice in the dining area closer to the entrance of the restaurant but the inner area, where we sat, looked more dreary and cramped. We got assigned a table for four that had two hotpots. The buttons to control the temperature were pretty easy to use so that's a plus. There were also little drawers under the table that had utensils conveniently stored in them. I didn't like how there was no leg room under the tables though. I would say service was a mixed bag. Some servers were more attentive than others and they were pretty bad in terms of refilling the tea, getting our orders, etc.
In terms of the food, everything tasted pretty standard. A highlight had to be the lamb though because it tasted very high quality. I also enjoyed the tripe, beef, the variety of noodles, and the dumplings. My friends also really liked the taro, corn, and fish tofu. They don't include FJ fish balls as part of the ayce menu, which was a bummer…
Overall, this place didn't really leave a great impression on me. Everything just seemed really meh. The food was alright but the ayce menu seemed very limited in terms of options. It's also more expensive compared to other ayce hotpot places in Flushing ($27, $34 after tax/tip). They even charge you extra for certain soup bases wtff. Skip this one and go to one of the other Flushing hotpot places instead!
All you can eat hot pot with inclusion of soda and cold beer for $27.5 Monday to Thursday, and weekends before 4pm. $31.5 after 4 in the weekends. I was shocked by the price as 99 Favor Taste and Hometown Hotpot in Manhattan are just $21.99. How can flushing be more expensive!?
The food and service was similar to the other hot pot places. They have a make your own sauce station. They offer a ton of choices. The place was very clean, service was fast.
The food was decent. Nothing super special. I might come back for the $14.95 all you can eat vegetables next time. They have a wide variety of vegetarian options.
