  1. Best Chinese food I've tasted in NYC… No seriously…I had reviewed the other location, but unfortunately it closed, so here it goes again….Hallelujah x 2

This review is for Delivery ONLY. For starters, they are super fast at delivering!

I swear, I ordered from this place 4 days in a row straight since the New Year. I guess you can call it an addiction or perfect for this cold winter in NYC.

    1. Seafood Noodle Soup with Chow Fun (Ho fun in my book, but NYC restaurants like to call things different than that they are), chow is usually pan fried regardless same difference:
    -Noodles are cooked perfectly!
-Soup, it must be the MSG, but DAMN, so tasty
-Seafood: more than I could handle, usually restaurants aren't that generous, but this place is!
-Veggies: bok choy= nice and crunchy just how I like it, in other words, I am glad they don't over cook it!

    2. Wonton Soup with Chow Fun:
-Wonton = BAD, but soup GOOD! The broth is pretty much the same as the seafood noodle.

    3. Chow Fun (The real pan friend version):
-Excellent! It could have used a little more sauce, but otherwise it taste great. It's hard to find a place out here in NYC that makes chow fun let alone close to the way they do in California. Thank you!

  2. Pretty authentic Chinese food in east village of all places. This is my go-to place for noodle soup and other Chinese dishes without shelling out $50 at nearby Han dynasty (food is delicious but it can get pricey). Service is quick and food is consistently good. It's a decent sized restaurant but I've never seen it packed. We always see people coming in for a quick dinner by themselves. Great place to grab authentic dependable Chinese food if you live in the neighborhood.

  3. I've ordered from this place countless times. The delivery is always fast but the food itself is subpar. Being Chinese, I am probably not the target audience of such an establishment. The food here is Americanized Chinese food through and through. Brown sauce, white sauce, lobster sauce, it's all there. Everything is in English and aims first to put White people at ease. No sea cucumber with shitake mushrooms here! The food here is very heavily seasoned and is usually overly sweet or overly salty. The dumplings and wontons here are some of the worst I have ever had. All skin, no filling. The best dishes they serve from this place are the soup noodles. The cantonese thin egg noodles are always good. Like everything else, the soup here does tend to be a bit oily. It probably has to do with the fact that they cook everything in an oily wok that is reused over and over again throughout the day, cleaned only by a single obligatory towel wipe between each dish. I actually have no idea why I keep ordering from this place. I do know that I always regret it afterwards, that is, until I forget and do it again. Their delivery is always fast though. I just wish they delivered better food.

  4. This place does a great job with weekend delivery! It always comes within the seamless time frame and it still hot when it arrives. The shrimp lo mein has great flavor and the scallion pancakes are very good too. The lo mein is a large portion that lasts 2 meals and the price is reasonable. Always happy with my delivery order.

  5. I love this restaurant!!!  Went for dinner with my husband. In addition to the delicious roast pork noodle soup I got to share, this time I also got the steamed soft meat buns (OMG so delicious I ate them all!!!) and also got the beef chow fun (best I have ever had and I am very picky about my chow fun..here the noodle was so fresh and the beef tasty delicious and plentiful and the sauce perfectly seasoned and not too salty nor greasy….Just Perfect. I also got gailan (Chinese broccoli) … finally a proper meal to welcome in the new year!!!

  6. Love the fresh wontons, love the fact that it's a sit-down restaurant, love the food! Fried rice is pretty bland, the service is decent, and the prices are just right!

  7. Grabbed the grilled pork soup with cantonese noodles and wontons.

It was pretty good – not -great- but good.. I got this delivery on a rainy Friday and it was better than walking outside. The food was a bit bland and the pork was soggy. I'd recommend they package the liquid and components (noodles/pork) separately for delivery.

I'm gonna give it another go by going into the restaurant – it definitely had potential!

  8. I got delivery from here the other day and it was decent. Ended up getting the dan dan noodles and I was very pleased that they came to me still hot. The sauce was great, but I wish that they would deliver it in a flatter bowl type container as it was difficult to mix the sauce with the noodles. Additionally, I got the chicken lo mein. Both were okay, but once they became cold, the dishes became flavorless.

The food was delivered extremely quickly which was great and the prices were okay, but it isn't the best chinese food I've ever had.
