  1. Not usually an IHOP fan…just don't think the chain is that good.  However, we had a great experience here .  This location reopened about 8 months ago and it was renovated and it seems like everyone was retrained in customer service…thankfully because the sevice here used to be terrible.

My daughter and I stopped here on a whim one day for "breakfast for dinner" and we had a pretty  good meal.  I had pancakes and two eggs fried hard and my daughter had three eggs, a pancake and hash browns.  Now I know this doesn't sound like a meal that could ever get screwed up, but believe me it can.  On this night though, the pancakes were delicious and the eggs were done perfectly.

What I was impressed with though was the customer service.  When I get a waitress that seems to be enjoying her night, is talkative, and has a smile on her face, then I know it's been a good service.  I wish I could remember her name because she deserves to be called out for being such a good waitress.

Three stars?  Yeah, it's a chain that I expect to provide the same quality of food with each visit.  It wasn't a superstar meal, but we did receive excellent service and a decent price.  Perhaps another visit will get them another star.

  2. We love this place and I am so happy it opened back up. We had a terrible waitress the last time we were here though, about 2 months ago, which brought down the experience to 4 stars instead of 5. I went here with two other people who wanted hot tea. She came back with lukewarm/ cool water twice. We asked her if she could just nuke it then to get it hotter and she said that she couldn't do that…then she said okay even though this made her annoyed. She took the water and came back with it and it was the same temperature….how is this possible? she had about 3 brain cells and kept forgetting to bring us ketchup which we reminded her a few times. I ended up taking it off another empty table bc she was a complete idiot. Normally we don't have such bad service. She was just a dummy and I hope she's not working there anymore.

  3. To echo some other reviewers…I can't believe I am giving IHOP five stars but everything is relative.

This IHOP has been here for years but you would never know it when you walk in because everything looks brand new. There is an overwhelming number of staff in the restaurant and everyone helps each other.

Our server was Antonio, he was by far one of the nicest, competent servers we have ever had. He was attentive, polite, well spoken, helpful, spotlessly clean in his appearance and a gentleman.

There must be quite a few regulars because many guests knew the staff and everyone greeted each other with smiles.

The restaurant was packed, it was a Sunday morning, but we were seated promptly, water and drinks delivered right away, order taken and food delivered before you could blink an eye. And the price is right. More reasonable than any finer around and it tasted better too.

Whoever manages this restaurant is doing an incredible job.

I will be back, but  not too soon, my waist can't afford it.

The bathrooms were spotless as well.

  4. I've always loved IHOP ever since I was a kid! I've found that no matter which one you go to, the food is always consistently good! My daughter had the blueberry pancakes that were loaded with blueberries! I had the chicken Florentine crepes. Lot's of juicy chicken along with onions, mushrooms, and spinach all topped off with a Hollandaise sauce. You could have plated it on a fancy plate with a side and served it in a four star restaurant. LOVE their coffee too! Everyone knows that coffee is a huge part of my life!

  5. I know, I'm giving five stars to an IHOP… But seriously, this is by far the nicest and CLEANEST IHOP I have ever been to.

When I walked in, the place was immaculately clean. I couldn't even find fault in the silverware and dishes. The space was pretty large, open, and well-lit. There was even a big aquarium, that looked well maintained, up front by the cash registers.

Upon being seated by the polite and attentive wait staff, I noticed the table was spotless. No sticky syrup spots anywhere to be found (a first in my experience). The syrup containers were all wiped clean and well labeled too.

Best of all, the pancakes were delicious! Fluffy, buttermilky, food from the heavens. The eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns were ok. But mmmm, those pancakes sure hit the spot! I'd definitely come back to this location!

  6. It's IHOP, the breakfast chain restaurant. The food was always mediocre, but affordable. The place itself is spacious and can seat large groups.

However, regardless of the food options, the customer service is impeccable. The way you're treated here, it's almost like you're dining in at a fancy $100/person restaurant.
