Nice selection of your standard breakfast all-day/diner fare. I've been pleased with their sandwiches (I love that in this part of town you can still get a stacked sandwich for less than $5), the various omelettes have been fluffy and delightful. The French toast was not great (but not bad) and the "sausage" offered was one of those Jimmy Dean or Paula Dean, I forget which, patties. womp womp
But apart from that, the care that the take with preparing the food really shows, even if all the ingredients are not perfect, they have always been fresh.
I still have not adjusted to my hood's requiring me to carry cash all the time, so having a tasty diner/cafe option accepting credit cards is a beautiful thing. Yay. Thanks!
Over priced, there is one guy who was never friendly, I'm not sure if he still works there I haven't seen him in a while. The only thing to come here for is their bagels, I've tried many things on their menu which I either didn't like or they were stingy with eggs on an egg sandwhich for 5$.
After reading the reviews on Yelp I was excited to try this spot out. When we arrived at the eatery we found it to be mostly empty but the staff was busy fulfilling delivery orders. We were told to sit where we wanted and asked if we wanted something to drink. The menu looked very extensive which led to us having a hard time deciding what we wanted to eat. We finally settled on the egg Benedict with lox. We didn't have to wait long for the food. The home fries were disgusting. They tasted stale like they were from the previous day. We both decided not to touch them. I understand that some places make these in advance and reheat them but these just tasted as though they had spent a few nights on the stove. My husband and I also had a side of pancakes, these were not golden brown but rather golden chocolate I.e burnt! We just didn't understand why anyone would have thought it was okay to serve burnt pancakes. To add insult to injury they were burnt on both sides of both pancakes. While I understand that they were busy fulfilling phone orders this was unacceptable. No one asked how the meal was or inquired as to why we didn't eat the home fries. In any event we will not be returning. Judging by the reviews this place is a hit or miss. The muffin, egg, and salmon were okay.
I came here on New Year's Day for something to help with my hangover and ordered a patty melt with waffle fries. The burger was HUGE but really tasted and perfectly medium rare, and the onions on the melt were very very yummy. The waffle fries were supposed to be "spicy" waffle fries; they definitely weren't spicy but they were still really good. Overall, if you're jonesing for diner food, this will definitely hit the spot.
This is a diner with a twist–a muy picante twist. As such, it offers better and cheaper food than the wretched though more trafficked Mexican joint and diner on Prospect Park West (Clemen's and Windsor Cafe, respectively). I tried the Terrace Burrito, which was a massive soft flour tortilla filled with shredded white meat chicken marinated in chipotle sauce with sauteed onions, guacamole, rice and refried beans and a side salad for only $6.95. The fresh tomatillo salsa served on the side was amazing. I went in here slightly skeptical of Mexican food at a coffee shop, but I was pleasantly surprised. On another occasion, I was a little less impressed with the Terrace Omelet with guacamole, cheese, and chopped bacon. Although the portion was ginormous and came with heaps of potatoes and tortilla chips (enough for two people or two meals), I didn't like that the cooked egg was used as a tortilla/wrap with all of the toppings rolled up inside–I prefer them to be sauteed with and integrated into the egg. Next time I'll try the hopefully more manageable two eggs any style. Service is speedy for both dine-in and takeout, and they accept credit cards here.

– the hollandaise sauce is definitely one of the top three I've ever had, which counts for quite a bit considering my go-to brunch order has always been eggs benedict
– can be a bit of wait sometimes for delivery (sometimes upwards of an hour+, but with any place that varies with how busy they are that morning)
– consistently good/great food
Quite possibly, the world's smallest diner/coffee shop. Seriously, this place is TINY. Yet I've never had to wait for a seat!
I go here for a standard northeast breakfast: eggs, toast, potatoes, coffee. My vegan BFF gets a vegetarian burrito minus the dairy, and the staff apparently does mexican dishes quite well. they also serve jarritos, and all your standard diner fare.
If only they offered cholula for my eggs!
