  1. I'm vegan so finding a hearty lunch is sometimes harder than you think. I looked at the menu online and saw they offered vegan cream cheese for bagels so I thought, "what the heck?" I'll try it. It was cold that day and I decided to head to the back. Right away I found 2 sides for $9 and lots of veggies. I had the sweet potatoes and the grilled veggies. The total came to $10 and it weighed about 5 lbs. Totally worth it. There's a vegan deli just down 45th and you'll get half the food for twice the price. I recommend Milk N Honey. I know I'll be back.

  2. Stopped in here while I was passing buy to grab a take-away breakfast/lunch on the way to a conference. They have a large variety of spreads which was nice. Ordered an everything bagel with lox spread and tomatoes and got it toasted.

The lox spread was pretty good but I couldn't tell if the everything bagel was good or not because it was over toasted/burnt. The bagel became tough/chewy and I ended up having to throw it out because it was too tough to eat. My colleague who was with me got an everything bagel and a different spread. She also got hers toasted and it was also burnt. She commented that the spread was good but it was a shame that the bagel was ruined. She too couldn't finish it and chucked hers out as well.

If you do stop buy to check out Milk 'n Honey, I would recommend not getting your bagels toasted. Service was friendly though.

  3. Top notch – truly.  We went in for breakfast this morning – saw that it was too crowded, and then left to find emptier options.  the owner came out in the street, and ran after us (1/2 block), letting us know he'd be happy to make room for us (remember, it was packed!).

We went back, and the five of us sat down and had a great breakfast.  My Lox Sandwich was good – but what will have us coming back is his focus on making us feel at home.

  4. I'm surprised this place has gotten so many negative reviews. The falafel here is very good as are the bagels. Sushi is a bit pricey but it's to be expected of a Kosher establishment.

It gets pretty crowded at lunchtime but that's also to be expected of a midtown lunch place.

They're currently having a free bagel promotion if you come in and mention Yelp. Go try for yourself.

  5. $3.81 for a magherita slice that wasn't a magherita slice….. that's too expensive for a regular cheese slice.

    Crowded and dirty…

Dn t recommend unless its the closest jewish place you can find…

  6. I don't get the bad reviews. I got an iced coffee, cinnamon raisin bagel with salmon cream cheese, and a black and white cookie, and everything turned out good. Took them a while to clean my table, and the place could be cleaner, but I enjoyed chilling here for a couple hours.
