Honestly knocked it out of the park amazing nachos. Got a fat tray of al pastor jalapeño nachos for 10 bucks. I'm literally talking about a full tray of fresh crispy ass nachos. Such a gem so fire
7/10: I have definitely had my fair share of tacos and for the most part around NYC, let's say they usually aren't the best thing I've ever eaten. This place is definitely better than most NYC options I've had (hence the 4 stars or 7/10 rating) but definitely not exceptional. If you are in the area and want some tacos I would say stop by but don't make a trip just to come here.

The pictures look great but the food was only okay. I had three tacos: Carnitas, Carne Asada, and Al Pastor ($12 Total). They were pressing fresh tortillas but they came out tough, and chewy. They didn't taste like Masa either. All of the meat was cooked well and well seasoned. It was fine but I think I try the nachos next time.
I came here last week for some post going-out / justin bieber concert food, and have not stopped thinking about it since. Truthfully, I think I have thought more about the nachos here than I have about the JBiebs concert, so that should tell ya somethin.
My friends were raving about this for a while and I was certainly looking forward to it. We found ourselves over on the West side (which happens to be where I live) but I followed everyone back over to the east side so that I could finally try it. In retrospect it was certainly worth the trip. Even the walk back to the west side didn't put a dent in the calories I consumed, but hey treat yo self Thursday.
For $10 or $12 ( I can't remember) you can get a tray of nachos that can easily feed 5 people. It was the largest platter of nachos I have ever had and extremely tasty – covered in cheesy goodness (and I do love me some cheese), jalapenos, tomatoes, and your choice of meat. Our was straight off the bone and scrumptious.
We were also very lucky to have been comped a free burrito because someone never picked it up. It was a plain bean burrito but certainly did the trick.
This is definitely a holy in the wall place, but I am so happy we stumbled upon it. I will certainly be back for a late night treat, and recommend it to anyone looking to try something a little different than your typical pizza slice.
From the outside, this look like a place that you may write off, but I beseech you, please enter the narrow corridor that is this restaurant. This place is exactly what you have in mind when you think authentic street tacos. Whether you get the steak, or the chicken, or the nachos, you are going to be really satisfied with your choice.
Another great thing is that they pack these tacos full of meat, and they definitely do not skimp on the portions. Having said that, order two and not three, I was too full for the third and I am a big eater.
The tacos are served the classic Mexican way, with onions, lime, and cilantro but you can pay like 20 cents extra for stuff like cheese or guacamole. But I recommend that you eat them the way the come, the flavors work beautifully together.
Its a bit pricey, but well worth it. Great tacos.
Tacos were good but kinda pricey for small amount. Burrito was a good size but nothing special, prefer chipotle over this burrito. This place is really tiny and the line does build up so make sure you order to pick up first. That's what I did and was able to get it almost right away when I arrived meanwhile there were at least 7 people on line.
Tonight, my vegetarian burrito was basically terrible — cold chewy tortilla, undercooked chewy rice, bland rice, small portion — and it was expensive! $9?! However, a couple of years ago, I tried the Steak Nachos; and those were incredible, so either quality has changed or they only pride themselves on their nachos, in which case they should take burritos off their menu… Not coming back…
The thing about getting paid biweekly is that you start by eating like a king and then proceed to scramble for money for the week after the first. Although I swear I try to save money more often, it's a hard knock life in NYC. And Taqueria Diana seems to answer all my pauper prayers in all the right ways.
Having been in the area and torn between this Japanese izakaya and that other one, I finally settled on this place…because it's been a long time since some great Mexican food. And yes- these tacos and nachos delivered.
We tried the al pastor, steak, and pollo taco- which were all very delicious. Perfectly topped with right amounts of guac and Crema (extra per order). Perfectly seasoned meats and an envelope of soft but not too soft tortilla shell deliciousness. I was excited for the al pastor meat because the name just demands grandeur (but it was a kinda dry)- but the star of the show was the carnitas.
My man ordered the carnitas nachos and it was delivered in a party tray and it was sized for a party of 4. That was probably the first time that I heard my boyfriend say that some plate of food was too big. Although the 10+ price tag may seem a bit out of pauper budget, it is deff worth it to split. Huge, cheesey, guacy, and omg that soft juicy carnitas- felt like a sin eating pork so juicy fat and delicious.
Probably one of the top at my places to eat while drunk list. But- too bad I wasn't drunk.
