  1. Four stars for the name alone

Simple concept and an even more simple menu. They are serving out of a window in Osteria Cotta(solid Italian wine bar), this place is going to be a solid breakfast spot (they close by 2 on weekdays, and 11am on weekends…so don't expect lunch). They have six biscuits up for grabs:

    *Butter and jam
    *Mascarpone and honey
    *(Fresh) whipped cream and berries
    *pulled pork
    *gravy (need I say more)
    * "The Sea Biscuit" – salmon cream fraiche, capers, pickled onions.

you can throw in a drip Stumptown coffee for 3/3.5 (small/large) or a cold brew for 4.50. Looks like its time to get our southern biscuit on.

  2. Big Bottom Biscuit Bar is an adorable little window cafe on the UWS. You can take the food to go and they do have a few tables where you can sit and eat. There are 4-5 biscuit options to order. I ordered the mascarpone and honey biscuit as well as the berries and whipped cream biscuit. The biscuit itself is alright; not the best I've ever had. They are fairly greasy. They kind of reminded me Popeye's Biscuits. The mascarpone and honey was a little strange. It almost had a curdled taste to it. The whipped cream and berries were delicious. I'm not sure I would come back here.
