Previti Pizza
“We went a little after regular lunch hours after a touristy visit to Grand Central and found a spot for all three of us easily.”
“I had the spinach artichoke on foccacia that everyone raves about and it lives up to the hype, no doubt.”
“P.S. We also used the yelp deal to get a free garlic knot, which was nothing special.”

So good. Who knew??!
I had a late night meeting and needed to satiate myself in a hot NY minute… Thanks to Yelp I noticed that this pizza spot was highly revered.
I ordered an eggplant ricotta slice and it was SO tasty and hit the spot. I did not expect high- quality pizza in this location, but then again… NY Pizza Suprema is also located in an equally random, surprising, tourist-saturated, business-district location.
I would highly recommend that you try Previti.
I needed to get my NY pizza fix and luckily I walked by this place after picking up a sandwich down the road. So many places in NY are so crowded during lunch so it's hard to judge what it will be like so happy to see so many good Yelp reviews.
Walking in I got so distracted from the array of toppings and so many different types to try. Focus Christie! You need your plain slice fix – just get the 2 slice + drink special. Since it's so busy at lunch, you might have to wait a bit for your order but on the bright side it is freshly made. I don't mind reheated slices like most pizzerias operate but it's definitely a lot nicer if it's freshly made and you eat it straight away.
There was a moment of silence – NY pizza fix fulfilled. Plus it was a nice treat to get a garlic knot by checking in with Yelp!
Recommended by my good friend Darren and this was our first stop for pizza in the city and ended up being my favorite of the 3 places we tried.
I got the grandma focaccia slice and the mushroom and pepperoni along with a brooklyn dark lager. The beer was fresh and the pizza came out hot. The prices were reasonable and the pizza was flavorful and really hit the spot. No lines, and a short walk from Rockefeller Center where we were at the time we decided to get a slice. All in all a great spot to pop into for some pizza and I would have no problem returning.
In a hurry and stopped in for a pizza fix. It was early- like 5pm- on a weekday. There were only a few people there. Got a slice of spinach mushroom and a slice of pepperoni with a lite beer- $11.50. NIH had mushrooms and the mushrooms were canned. Server was quick and friendly. Pizza ok.
Another one of our go-to pizza places at work. I had the cheese on focaccia and bbq chicken pizza, very tasty. Recommend checking this place out.
First time to this place. Brought in by the reviews on Yelp. Came here on a Friday for lunch. Had a calzone with pepperoni. The ricotta cheese was fluffy and whipped to perfection. The insides were warmed perfectly and wasn't too hot. The crust was not too crispy and not too doughy and was slightly sweet which complimented the spicy pepperoni really well. The check out line was efficient but the pick up line was a little inefficient. They just call numbers which can be a little hard to hear over the music and hustle and bustle. It was a high quality New York City lunch for super cheap.
The rumors are true – the grandma's slice is absolutely delicious. The other rumors are also true – if you come at peak hours, there is nowhere at all to sit; in fact they won't even ask if you're taking your food to go because you don't have a choice.
It is by all accounts (including mine) a fairly standard midtown pizza joint. Cramped, crowded, and masterfully fast. I'm a sucker for a good grandma slice, and these guys definitely deliver, but spending over $7 for two felt pretty steep, even though I was ultimately satisfied. I managed to find a seat near the window, which was good for a few minutes of people watching. Keep it to a few minutes though, don't be a seat hog!
Hands down the best pizza in the area! Previti makes authentic New York style pizza — the kind with a perfect crust that is crunchy when you bite into it. They also have a wide variety of slices. The spinach artichoke is fantastic! I love the mix of flavors and the cheesiness. I have also had the chicken and broccoli — they really load on the toppings too! Will not be going anywhere else for pizza.
