Listen to me. The pizza here is REALLY F***ing good. As far as the pizza goes it might be the best version of this type of pizza I've ever had. I've tried a few spots with similar pizza and margherita NYC is the clear winner out of the competition. I ordered the diavola. What a perfect combination of thin crust, delicious sauce and spicy salami. Nothing less than a symphony in my mouth. I'll cut the this rant short, the pizza was flawless.
If the 5 star rating wasn't secured by the pizza alone, the service would have put them over the hump. I interacted with one person, the bartender,pizza maker and owner (assumption). He confidently recommended the diavola, poured my drinks and made the pie from scratch. It took no longer than 5 mins for that pie to come out of their oven and be served to me. The service could not have been more efficient. The owner was very personable despite how busy he was. He was conversing with the customers, communicating with the staff in Italian and making pizzas simultaneously.
Easy 5 stars here. I received amazing food, efficient service and an authentic Sicilian experience. The bar is set for Sicilian spots in Manhattan.
On my way to Ferrara's, but I spot a diamond in the road called Margherita. It's calling to me, like a sexy siren…pizza. Pizza. Pizza.
Even though I just ate, this spot makes me hungry for more. Margherita truly fills me up, from the enchanting Giuseppi and Giulio to the beautiful za oven and then on to the star of the show…the Quattro Staggione.
Absolutely za-mazing napolitano style pizza with all natural ingredients originating from different regions of Italy.
This establishment is truly a work of art and well deserving of the 5 stars, from the attentive service to the delicious pizzas, fresh ensalatas, calzones and wines.
Having lived in this hood for over ten years, I've definitely seen places come and go. This place is going to be a pizza institution. It's truly that amazing. Now let's eat! Mangia!
Sub-par place in Little Italy. Their pizzas are better than anything else here – I got the pasta with red sauce – it was delish but likely because I was completely starving at the time. It was incredibly, incredibly salty – and I am a salt fiend. Service is perfect, they have a few seats outside in the front but other than that it's all indoor seating.
At first we were hesitant to visit this relatively new place (6 weeks old) with 8 reviews. But then we thought we would just give it a try.
And we are so glad we did!
From start to finish , this authentic Italian pizza restaurant was delightful:
Handsome and friendly Luigi, from Napoli, welcomed us to a lovely table just inside the open door and windows. As the staff chatted with each other in Italian,we
could hear that everybody was from Italy. (Unlike most of the usual mediocre 'Italian' restaurants in Little Italy)
We ordered a margherita pizza and a calzone. Both were generously sized and very delicious. Surely only the highest quality ingredients were used.
Luigi provided excellent service throughout our meal.
We will definitely be back to this lovely place!
