  1. Came here because I saw them on shark tank.

Ordered two slices to go, $4 each of their regular margarita pizza.

They pop it in the oven to heat it up.

Seating on the side outdoors if you desire.

Tomato sauce was on the sweeter side.  The crust is super thin.  I can kinda taste the difference of slice from coal vs normal pizza fired ovens.  The coal fired has a more toasty crust but still soft on the inside.  The cheese was perfectly layered on top.

I wish it was $3 a slice instead of $4, but if you order a whole pie, it would come out to $3 a slice.

    Would I come back…? ..Maybe

I feel like for the price, you can get the same at places like Grimaldis with toppings, but Grimaldis don't sell slices.  So I if you are craving some margarita pizza, but don't feel like ordering a whole pie, this is the place to go.

  2. After doing the second Lowe's run of the day for a home improvement project I stumbled upon this location of Table 87. Since I needed to feed about 5 people, I ended up ordering a couple of pies.  You've got the option of a 12" or a 20" and the margherita is a solid choice.  It's well made with noticeably fresh mozz and basil.

The pies come out piping hot and all taste great. The dough is of the perfect taste, texture and cooked perfectly int he coal oven. Service is friendly and fast too!

  3. Stopped in right before they were closing to grab some 'za after a show in the neighborhood. Their kitchen had closed but they were still making pies, so my friend and I split a 12 in. mushroom and truffle pizza at their small bar. Delicious!

Small space, but quaint and friendly service! Would definitely recommend to go for affordable pizza in the Gowanus neighborhood.

  4. I order delivery from here all the time, but finally made the journey to the actual restaurant.

At 7pm on a Tuesday we were seated almost immediately by a friendly staffer.

The service was attentive without being overwhelming or annoying. The food (eggplant/tomato/goat cheese panini for $11 and the ziti bolognese ~$17) were both well above average.

1/2 carafe of wine (~$12-$14) meant that we walked out spending about $50 for a casual dinner.

Maybe more than you'd like to spend on a panini and some pasta, but the accessible neighborhood vibe, staff, and friendly service is worth paying that few extra bucks.

  5. Atmosphere: indoor, outdoor, and bar seating (though I wish it faced the pizza oven). Clean bathroom. The bartender, Rose, was so friendly and made good conversation. Love the outdoor movie nights on Wednesdays.

Food: gluten-free pizza!! They actually make the crust in-house. I can remember the last time I was able to pick up, fold, and eat a GF slice without it cracking, crumbling, or falling apart. The dough was a little floury on the bottom, but that's just knit-picking. The sausage and red pepper was nice. Plus, there are jars of marinated hot cherry peppers and roasted garlic at the bar, both delicious on the pizza. The watermelon salad was interesting, but I don't think I'd get it again. I saw a stuffed artichoke the size of a cabbage come out that looked amazing.

Drinks: plenty of beer and wine on tap, and a huge selection of wines by the glass.

Check out the freezer section for their new frozen line (apparently they were on Shark Tank). I can't wait to return.

  6. I had high hopes and expectations before I came to Table87. I've heard and read such good things about their pizza. They sell their slices and pies by mail around the US from their deal on shark tank. When I got to table 87 I was excited to chow down on some coal fired pizza. The pictures posted on social media really hyped it up. So we sat down in the back room and ordered our food. The Margherita pie was tasty but was sauce is lacking. The buratta pie was good but I was expecting to be blown away especially for $24. I have had better pizza living in  Brooklyn my entire life. We enjoyed the pizza but wouldn't run back so fast. The service wasn't great either. Our waitress was not very attentive and we never got refills of water or napkins.

  7. This restaurant is bigger and roomier than the one on Atlantic Avenue.  The staff are awesome and accommodating. The food is always outstanding and remarkable.

I brought my two toddlers to the restaurant and they had space to walk around without interfering with the wait staff.  The pizza is delicious, fresh and oh so tasty – ask for extra sauce so you can dip the pizza. I had the special for the day, which was shrimp stuffed with crabmeat on a bed of linguine.  I enjoyed it as much as my kids did, which tells you something about their food and my kids are picky eater.

This restaurant is very accessible by bus and train and not too far from the city.  It's a must go NYC pizza restaurant that you do not want to miss out on.  Authentic thin slice NYC pizza that cannot be missed.

The staff are awesome.  My husband knows most of the staff and they go back n forth btwn the Atlantic Avenue and this restaurant.

We will be back with a bigger empty stomach to eat more of their delicious food.  Come and join us…..

  8. A wonderful pizza restaurant to sit and enjoy great food with the family.  Not only does this restaurant have great tasting pizza, it also has a large selection of salads and sides.  Will come back again.
