Little Italy Pizza

“You really can't beat these slices…no chance of anything better on the UWS.”

“Also, they're really kid-friendly, a feature surprisingly missing from so many Upper West Side pizzerias.”

“Surprisingly good, given the Broadway location, uninspired name and Italy-flag awning.”

  1. This place was precisely what I was after. I told my wife that I wanted random, delicious New York pizza while we were visiting and I happened upon this place. Fortuitous is the word that fits best. The pizza was spot on; thin, crispy crust with just the right amount of give to fold it in half, stringy cheese, zesty sauce, and delicious pepperoni. The place is 8" wide so you know that none of the ingredients are homemade, but they look and taste like good quality food. The price is spot on as well, with a 2 slice and drink special that will fill you up for well under $10. This is a must get if you find yourself in the area.

  2. I have had pizza here several times and while it usually does the trick, it is not very memorable. The price is decent, but still not cheap and there are many other more tasty choices around the city.

  3. Best pizza I've had in awhile and super CHEAP!!!!

You can get 2 cheese slices with a 20oz drink for 5 bucks!!

They have a lot of different kinds of pizza and it's a decent slice, super crispy!

I got the spinach feta pizza, DELICIOUS! I will def be back here if I want a quick bite.

Super satisying and they have fanta!

  4. You never know with a by-the-slice joint if what you're going to get is standard NY pizza or something a little bit special. Little Italy Pizza falls in the latter category, I think. I got a slice of sausage pizza and some garlic knots. The best part of this za was the crust, which was a little thicker, foldable, and had those crumbs of corn meal or whatever it was on the bottom. Made for a good slice. And the garlic knots were incredible. They even came with a little styrofoam cup of marinara sauce. Nice job, LIP.

  5. Last night was my first time here.  I've had a hard time finding good pizza on the Upper West Side.  This place has a lot of different fancy slices available.  I didn't see any vodka slices, but hope they do have them at some point! I got a pepperoni slice which was crunchy and tasty.  I also got a fresh mozzarella slice. It was good, but needed more cheese.  It had a nice basil taste.  They have constant business so we weren't the only ones to discover it!  The people that work there are friendly and move quick.  I will definitely be going here often.

  6. Delicious & cheap pizza slices, the crust & base have superb crunch!
The garlic balls & tomato sauce are packed with flavour.

  7. There is not a ton to say about this place really.  It is the quintessential late night / NYC pizza by the slice joint.  I wanted some pizza super late at night and I did not really know the neighborhood.  This place was open, cheap, and delicious.  I have certainly had better pizza but this place was everything I needed exactly when I needed it.  Little Italy Pizza is a late night food white night in pizza covered armor.

  8. Needing a dose of genuine NYC pizza upon arriving in the city, my daughter suggested LIP. The atmosphere is garish and no frills. The guy taking orders, working the oven AND answering the phone reminded me of John Belushi doing his "Cheeburger Cheeburger" routine. Hard to understand and kinda impatient. The end result however: 5 piping hot slices of 'za done perfectly, 5 really garlicky garlic knots, and 20 oz soda for $24! I left full and satisfied with a "back in NYC " experience   Quick good and cheap.
