The buffalo chicken pizza will make you go right round the outside. If you like it hot, lick the tobasco off the top and add chili flakes. I prefer the pesto slice. It's a little sweet and flavorful.
So we went in because their ad said PIZZA was $1. Thinking that all of the pizza was $1 we ordered a slice of pepperoni, a slice of barbecue chicken and two sodas. The total was $6 which wasn't bad at all in general but we were definitely confused because of the price. So we asked why the pizza isn't $1…the CHEESE PIZZA is $1. So their ad should say CHEESE PIZZA $1 right? But anyway, the two stars isn't because of the fact that we were confused. It was our bad for not asking in the first place and just assuming. Two stars because the pizza was way too greasy and it wasn't THAT great. I've experienced better. Will I be back? Uh, no thank you.
FYI- the plain slice is perfect. The sauce really pops, just like the slices on Ludlow. The size of the slices here are even a little bit bigger. Definitely my new LES go to for pizza.
All these dollar pizza shops are opening up on the Lower East Side now. I guess it caters to the late night boozin.
Still in a pinch, it hits the spot. This one was good. I had a cheese slice and it was tasty.
