Peter Pizza
“There crust which is baked with sesame seeds is a bit thicker than I prefer but the garlic in the Sophia Loren is fantastic.”
“I also loooove the upside down pizza slice, it has a lot of sauce and thick dough.”
“Even the sesame seeds on the crusts of the round slices add an extra flavor that most pizzerias fail to utilize.”

Excellent pizza, very reasonable prices, and super quick delivery.
The pizza that we ordered for lunch came very quick and tasted great. It was also covered with sesame seeds on the crust which was a nice surprise.
I will definately order here again!
Delicious pizza with a unique sesame crust that I eat because I usually skip the crust.
My father actually taught the owner of this heaven that makes the greatest slice of pizza in Brooklyn! Forget spumoni gardens (place is so played out for pizza, but the restaurant I highly recommend) for a slice that usually gives me nothing but agita, come here!!!
Nothing is as great as getting a nice, COOKED, non dripping with oil, firm slice of pizza with sesame seeds on the crust for added enjoyment.

yeah that's what I want in a pizza! Personality! And it's nice to see an actual real Italian cooking my pizza too – thank you!
The pizza I got served here was some of the worst I've had in awhile. It was burnt so badly that the whole thing crumbled when I tried to fold it. It was stale from sitting there the whole day. The sauce was overspiced, the whole thing was thrown together in a mess…I could keep going but whats the point.
The only thing about this place is that the owner is a really nice guy. While I was there, he was going on about how he found out that one of his customer's orders got screwed up the other day and he even called them to apologize. He was also talking with a regular about how much he pays for his ingredients. When I got my slice and tried to pay for it, he made me eat it first and then decide whether to pay. Thats exactly what I like to see from a pizza owner; its very refreshing instead of the usual young guy whose looking just to make money or the older guy who doesn't give a fuck about anything anymore. Its just too bad the pizza sucked…
Update: In response to the fake review written below (couldn't they have picked a less obvious name? also I'm wondering now if some of the Chowhound posts on this place were fake) ,and the message the owner sent me, let me reinterate that I am not criticizing the man, I am criticizing the pizza. Yes the pizza was burnt, but as I've said that wasn't the only problem with it. Harsh as it sounds, I don't care about anyone's pride or the money, I care about the product. The product I tasted here was about as bad as you could get. That doesn't sound like a hidden gem to me. If you want better reccomendations for that area, try La Casa Bella, Ciccio's, Knapp Street Pizza II, or hell even L&B. If you're willing to travel to a legitimate hidden gem in Brooklyn, try Pizzeria Del Corso in Marine Park. I wish this place was as great as others are saying, but it wasn't even close.
Update #2: Yay! Another fake review from one of the owner's friends! Oh well, at least they used a profile pic this time. I'm not a big fan of L&B (see my review), but it wipes the floor with Peter Pizza. Complainer? Was I supposed to like the burnt, stale, pathetic piece of garbage this guy served me? Believe it or not, putting a full clove of garlic is a bit much for most peope. But hey, if you like that then keep going here! Its a free country!
If you want to see my experience, take a look at the list of pizza places I've been to; I'm an open book. Read those, then tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. I'd also love to know where "all over the city" Cara M has been, as she has one review.
I seriously question most of the reviews here, as the owner is just trying to build up his restaurant through marketing online. Instead of getting friends to write reviews for him, maybe he should focus on the pizza. And another thing: just because you're Italian doesn't mean you make good pizza. This guy proves that.
