My kids and I came in here hangry, we were waiting for a movie and just needed something quick and simple to hit the spot….we found it!
There was a special posted; 2 slices and a drink for $5…sold! I also ordered pizza fries, simply topped with marinara sauce and cheese, thoroughly enjoyed those!
We sat in the back by the TV watched some of a basketball game, listened to some music it was not crowded it was great!
The absolute best part was the service. I didn't get the young ladies name but she was awesome!!! Seriously, the music when we came in was NOT kid friendly she was changing it before I even asked, I wanted a juice for my kids in stars of the fountain soda with the special she let us have both so I could get a little caffeine jolt and she gave my kids a ring pop each when we were leaving! She was just really great at customer service helping us to our seat with the food so accommodating!!!
The pizza is inexpensive, the staff has always been friendly to me, and in a pinch I have been known to stop by for a slice or two. However, given the plethora of nearby pizza options (Motorino, La Nonna, etc…), I don't think their pizza stands up.
The slices I have gotten seemed like they were sitting out for a while, and the "dryness" they had upon reheating confirmed by suspicions. I would recommend getting a pizza fresh out of the oven as the way to go there.
As the saying goes, pizza is like sex, even when it is bad, its still pretty good.
Oh, Brickhouse. Thank you for being open so late. You were the light at the end of a tunnel when me and my girlfriend stumbled in. Comfort in the form of cheese and mushrooms. But anything tastes good when you're drunk. There's a time and place for cheap pizza, and 3am on a Saturday night was it.
Really crappy pizza. Tasteless, over/undercooked. I have had better dollar pies in the city.
But it's open late, and when I am drunk I don't care. Not sure that says anything good about the place though. Delivery is usually reasonably speedy.
The

But for two bucks
I can't complain. Good for quick bite by bridge.
In a town of pizza snobs I'm sure Brickhouse doesn't rank too highly for their slices, but honestly it's pulled through for me so many times. They're open late, their slices always taste fresh and nicely crispy in the crust, and it's never crowded.
Hard to imagine, but sometimes I get sick of pizza and in those instances I go for the wings, which are surprisingly large and flavorful! I've also ordered the pasta and that definitely wasn't impressive, so I'd stick with the typical pizzeria fare if I were you.
The best part about Brickhouse is the service. There's one woman in particular who works there who is always so sweet, upbeat, and helpful. I should definitely get her name next time to give her some official props because she always puts me in a good mood after visiting!
