Located on west 33rd is this pizza spot. I just got 2 plain slices and a drink from here. They had a lot of different specialty slices available in the display even at 10:30 at night. The pizza was good. I have no complaints. This is a spot if you want something to hold you over. The prices are cheap and the pizza was good. They also have beer for sale inside. If I'm in the area and walk by this location I would stop here again. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. I would recommend if you are on 33rd.
Great slice! Stopped in here before catching a show at the Garden. There are several pre made pies such as pepperoni, plain, and Sicilian ready for individual slices. The prices are a little high at 2.75 per slice. The sauce is sweet and the pies have a corn meal type bottom. I would recommend this for a quick or late night slice.
Its hard to come across a place like this and think you'll fall in love with it when you come from Toronto. Toronto doesn't have a place like this because it's full of Pizza Pizzas and chains that don't compare to the pizza that is churned out here on a regular basis.
Maybe there is something about NY style pizza that makes it significantly more appealing but what you get in return is unbelievable in comparison to what we get back home.
The crust actually for me is what the seller is here. It's thin, crunchy, chewy and delicious all at the same time. The plethora of different slices available makes my head spin. Also the speed in which I get my slice is faster than anything I've seen in Toronto.
Essentially, what I'm trying to say is that pizza in Toronto sucks and the Pizza here in NYC (particularly at this location) is IMMENSELY better. I plan on making this a regular stop whenever I'm in the city because it is JUST THAT good!
My visit to NY just wouldn't be complete without my long lost bit of Americas fav food. Pizza was hot and fresh and authentic.
The weather was cold and the pizza was hot and bubbly. We split a pie between 4 of us and it was perfection on a plate! Need I say more?
On our first night in New York on a business trip my friend and me were tired. We had been sent to two wrong hotels and then we finally got checked in near midnight and wanted to get something to eat after a long flight. We wandered around near our hotel and happened upon Little Italy.
I was surprised of the quality for the price. The beers were very reasonably priced as well. I had a beer and a couple of slices of pizza and finally felt like I had arrived in New York. The barbecue pizza had a lot of chicken and smoky barbecue sauce that was nice and filling. The Pepperoni sausage pizza tasted great because the sausages were so well seasoned.
Good but not great NYC style pizza. They have several locations all the city. As others have mentioned they put cornmeal on the crust, so the crust area is very crispy despite being slightly thin. The slice has a nice amount of cheese and sauce and is a bit greasy as a result (which I don't mind).
So disappointing for this to be NY Pizza. Huge slices as it should be. But definitely not as fresh as it needs to be. Prices are reasonable for it to be a slice or a whole pie. But for Manhattan, for NYC, definitely needs to taste way better than it did. Different options like pepperoni, spinach and feta, sausage and more. Someone said it best. You come here when you're out of options, wallet is thin, you're drunk and you need to get something into the system

Had a slice after seeing BJ at the garden. I LOVED the crust. Very crunchy. It was so good we ordered a whole pie and had it delivered a couple nights later. The gentlemen who took our address wrote it down wrong. When it was corrected the driver then got stuck on the wrong side of 33rd (east not west). An hour later the pizza arrived lukewarm with a soggy crust. Not happy about that. But, when you pick up it's great. Just don't get delivery.
