Best pizza in corona. Period. Food and service is great. I've been going here since I was a kid. I no longer live in corona but the trip here always worth it.
This review is strictly for their food delivery, I never stepped foot in the restaurant.
Last Sunday my flight was canceled and I had to scramble for a return flight and a room. About 8:30 I realized I had not eaten since breakfast and got the menu from the front desk. I ordered a chicken calzon, caesar salad, chocolate cake and two bottles of water. The friendly guy on the phone (called me Hon!) promised a 45 minute delivery and they were calling me from the front desk within 50 minutes. Pretty good for a pouring down rainy night with plenty of calls from hotels.
I know I was starving but the food tasted great to me! I ate it watching the Olympics and it was definitely the best part of my day.

I've been living in Corona basically my whole life. I can honestly say this is one of the BEST pizzerias we have.
Angelo's pizza is so delicious like omg. It's so cheesy and perfect. Their pies are great. The slices are the size of my face! They also have other hot food like mozzarella sticks, wings, and even lasagna (which is heaven).
When I eat in, i always get welcomed and the waitress is so nice. Their discount specials are good too. They have combo #s which are great when u wanna save $ & have a lot of people eating in.
If you're in the corona area & are craving a good authentic pizza slice, you defiantly have to hit up Angelo's. You really will not regret it.
Great pizzeria located in an area which seems kind of out of place. The place is nice size with plenty of seating. I ordered up a pepperoni slice and was told to have a seat and I would have it brought to me….huh? Come again?
Now, there is a pizzeria in the Bronx that brings your slice to your table, but waitress service? It caught me way off guard. I sat and was brought my slice and my snapple and eventually a check….weird, because you almost feel obligated to give a tip which I'm sure most people don't, which sucks because the woman works hard.
I enjoyed my lunch and gave a tip which I feel was deserved. Cool spot.
Good pizza and salad that was extremely basic. Staff was extremely helpful. I got this delivered to a laguardia airport hotel and it is a good option. This is not one of the better pizza places in NYC but good delivery option.
It's getting real pricey to eat here. I've grown up around the corner from Angelos and remember when it used to be a tiny little spot that was run by a family of sons and brothers.
Nowadays, the food is still great but not what it used to be. I felt like it was once made with good old Italian love, which is not really there anymore, breaks my heart.
However, the slice is still damn good!
