I'm going to make this one short and to the point.
A solid pizza joint that has been in the neighborhood for years and years and years…..you get the idea.
They make great pies that come to your door piping hot and fast as hell.
What more could you ask for.
I love the baked ziti here, it's absolutely delicious! The prices are a little steep, but considering that they're directly across from Queens College, I can't complain much. I rather dine here than in the school cafeteria. It does get very crowded here during lunch time, with long waits. Make sure you know what you want before standing in line to order, or else you will get angry stares from students behind you.
Best pizza in flushing !!! My man J always hooks it up. I work by here and come by 4-6 times a week. They got great deals and I love how fresh the pizza is. Thank you !!
Well, I've actually never had the pizza here. This review is for the baked ziti and chicken parm.
While I was working on campus at the "then" Colden Auditorium, we would order from here 9 times out of 10. And 9 times out of 10 my friend Zahra would order the baked ziti, I'd order garlic knots and my boss would order either a seafood "salad" or the chicken parm. And till this day, I haven't had a better baked ziti or garlic knots.
The ziti had the best sauce, not too acidic, and the cheese wasn't caked on, but there were layers of gooey-ness with the crunch on top. As for the garlic knots, simply drenched in garlic and olive oil, with a little butter.
This food is not healthy by any stretch of the mind, I mean the seafood salad was essentially calamari on top chopped salad with a lot of Italian dressing on the side. BUT – it was consistently good, they delivered even in the snow and rain and they were inexpensive.
I have instructed my brothers to go here instead of the pizzeria across the street from campus if they want some good ol' Italian-American cuisine.
I'm still a fan, and come to think of it, I think I'll bring Zahra here for her birthday when she comes to visit!
Regina's my home crib, and this is how it all began.
Plain cheese, grab and fold, no frills — ate here with my homies, third grade onwards, would slide right into a booth, chew chew gobble gobble.
Could never make it home from swim lessons at Queens College without a slice. Made me rebel against home-cooked meals.
Regina is a pizza shop that i used to go to way way way back when I was a kid. I never thought I would hear about Regina again until I started working in the neighborhood. Everyone at work swears by this place. They order from here all the time. They are usually good with their delivery time. Pizza to me is never the same as eating it in the store. Since it was close to work I opted to check it out.
The place is a real feel of a mom and pop pizza store. It's definitely clean and tidy. The tables are wiped down, no sticky floors, nothing to scare me.
As usual…I love to try stuff. Their chicken rolls are awesome and it's cheap. Best combo ever.
I'm not a big brick oven pizza person. I like the regular pizza from a pizza shop. The cheese, dough and sauce has to be just right for me to eat it almost everyday. Regina's sauce is great.
They have other stuff on the menu like wraps and zeppoles.
I''ll keep coming here for my pizza fix.
Come here and order the garlic pizza pie.
I like how they always make their food fresh, as you can really taste the difference between a fresh slice of pizza versus a reheated slice that has been sitting around for hours. Its just a lot softer and that bite is just so juicy.
They always are fast in making their pie when you order over the phone and they are true to their time estimates of when the food will be done. Food is always piping hot. They always provide enough plates, napkins, and cups if you ordered soda. While there are some places that try to skimp out in providing these essentials if you order to go.
The pizza shop is quite small and probably can seat about 12 people at any given time. But don't let their size fool you, because this is where great pizza is made and served.
