I wanted to like you. To be honest, I sort of do, but not like I hoped to. Your options seemed enticing. Organic. Cheese shipped from Italy. Crunchy crust.
Why things didn't work out…
Not much taste. I barely tasted the truffle oil on the Felice slice. I did taste salt. A lot of it.
The DOC slice was pretty tasteless too.
$20 for two slices, 1 water and 1 small apple juice. I can't afford this boring relationship.
Really good, fresh pizza with wonderful ingredients. The crust is delicious and they seem to use fresh mozzarella instead of regular mozzarella cheese. I also love the gimmick of the long pie with the long boxes. It feels like a step up from the regular, round pizza pie from your local parlor. The smaller square shapes make this a nice accompaniment to other food if you are entertaining at home or for a kids pizza party. They make fresh pies very quickly, presumably because the crust is thin so you don't have to wait long for a custom order. My primary hesitation is the price. While the full pie is slightly larger than the standard 8-piece round pie it hurts a little bit to pay double the price. Maybe I need to change my mindset that this pizza should not be compared to regular pizza. I can honestly say that its better and different but it likely will not replace our standard pizza parlor a few doors down….
