Patricia’s of Tremont
“Dessert always includes a decaf cappuccino and some zeppoles for the table.”
“Definitively well worth the drive from Manhattan.”
“The atmosphere is loud, like when you're eating with your 22 cousins on Sunday, and when it's someone's Birthday, the whole place sings to them.”

The food is awesome! The resteraunt is nice they always give free bread and the service is good. They take a long time for delivery and their prices are good. I can't chose between. Their food and Toscas.
Love the food here at Patricia. I drove up from the city to eat at this place!
I had never been to Patricia's in Throggs Neck before tonight – its distant cousin (also called Patricia's) in Morris Park is closer to me so I never bothered eating here. However, I heard the food and dining experiences differed so I decided to try it out.
The restaurant is a decent size; the majority of the dining area is one large room with additional space in the back which (I assume) can double as a private room if needed. I'm generally unimpressed with the aesthetics as a whole – it's loud, the silverware is on the cheap side, the lighting doesn't give off a restaurant feel, some of the tables were the plastic folding kind, and the decor is meh. It's difficult to describe, but it didn't feel like I was eating in a restaurant – more like a large loud pizzeria or food hall.
The food was pretty good. I started with the tortellini soup – the broth wasn't too salty and they didn't skimp on the tortellini; no frills and satisfying. For my main I had Italian sausage topped with broccoli rabe; it was a generous portion and seasoned well – the broccoli rabe had cloves of garlic in it which I loved. For dessert I had the cannoli – I don't think it was house made but it was good nonetheless.
Service was good – I never felt like I was forgotten, they were really on their game. Overall the experience was okay – decor and atmosphere were meh, food was solid, and service was good. Personally I would go back to Morris Park before I came back here, but for a neighborhood Italian restaurant it serves its purpose.
Great food and big food portions! Definitely one of my favorite Italian food spots! The ambiance is nice and the servers are friendly but sometimes a little slow.
Definitely worth a try if you are ever in the Bronx. Very good Italian food. The pizza, pasta, seafood and appetizers are all tasty choices. The food is always delicious when dining inside.
The only thing I have ever been a little disappointed with was the Penne Vodka and certain salads. However, everything else is definitely delicious.
Came here for lunch with my mom and we were not disappointed.
They have a huge menu. So it was hard to pick what to eat, but we decided to stick to the lunch specials.
My mom got veal parm, I got Bowtie pasta w a pink sauce with mushrooms, peas, and prosciutto.
Both sauces were terrific, very fresh and full of flavor.
Came with a salad with a creamy balsamic vinaigrette which was ok.
Also a pizza appetizer came out.
It was all great, and a great price.
Free. Pizza.
What else do I need to say?
Patricia's is located near the Cross Bronx Expressway in the heart of Throgs Neck. My boyfriend and I were en route to Tosca, but then came to our senses and decided on the much less annoying Patricia's. It's a cozy place, the kind where everyone knows each other. But you don't feel weird or out of place.
They have a decent selection of Italian goodies, including pizzas. Dying for shrimp, I ordered the shrimp vesuvio: jumbo shrimp in a white wine and garlic sauce. It came with rice and peas (which I've literally been craving all week), house salad, unlimited free bread… and FREE PIZZA! My boyfriend and I stared at it for five minutes, trying to figure out if we should tell the waiter he delivered the crispy, thin-crust snack to the wrong table. But we said screw it, we'll eat it anyway. We felt a lot less cool once another table got it. Granted, it's only a few slices but still it's FREE PIZZA.
The food was great and the chef here really knows how to make shrimp. Tender, plump and juicy…garlicky… and flavorful!
They also have a great selection of desserts… but I only had mousse. I wish I could try the in-house pastry, but I'm allergic to Nutella, sadly.
Overall, I would gladly return to Patricia's for a satisfying, local meal!
Came here with 2 coworkers for lunch when I was in the area for a work meeting. We split a margarita pizza. While we waited we were given a bread basket with seasoned olive oil. It was delicious. They also gave a sample of the pizza which we gobbled up. The pizza was a nice size for us to split and was comparable to Grimaldi's for me. I really liked it, it was light and airy. I would definitely come back to try their entrees, they seemed to be a hot spot in the area for Italian food.
Review is for takeout:
Service was decent – took about 50 minutes for food to come
Fettuccini alfredo with chicken was delicious – nice and creamy with a good amount of grilled chicken. Pasta seemed homemade.
So why only 3 stars? My house salad came with a packet of Ken's Italian dressing! Come on people!!! Is this an Italian restaurant or an imposter? Nobody wants to get a dressing packet.
