Pretty good pizza and standard fare. Been going here since a child. I usually get my slices well done. But the best part about this place is that its directly across from the Lemon Ice Kings of Corona and its close if you're doing anything at Flushing Meadows Corona Park
Just a quick review, I like Chicken rolls and I tried one here and it was good. I've had some pitiful chicken rolls and I'll be sure to put those places on blast next time I come across one but the roll here was good and it came with a side sauce (which I feel should be the norm) and it didn't dissapoint.
They precut my spinach slice for my lady and me. Quite thoughtful. Didn't skimp on the blue cheese. Appreciated that too.
Unfortunately the wait was pretty substantial. Felt like 20 minutes. I mean I liked the freshness of the wings but that seemed just a bit difficult to bear.
Nonetheless the wings were good. Not the biggest but a respectable size. Sauce was delicious. Nailed the buffalo without being too spicy. Freshness was clear and upfront. Enjoyeeed it.
Location location location. And being directly across from Corona ice king definitely made the trek out to this part of town all the more worth it.
Overall a great place, super nice staff, and the food was on point.
Come back? If I'm in the area, sure.
I lived in Corona for over 15 years and I love this pizza shop! I've been a frequent visitor of this shop since it was a hole in the wall across the street from its current location when they used to have video games in the back room.
They have plenty of seating with seating along the outer perimeter of the restaurant that would be outdoors but is actually enclosed (indoors). It's a family run business and they treat it as such with good service.
Heros are great and pizza is really good.
