  1. I ate there for the first time last week
We got 4 different slices of everything
    The sauce is great
    I enjoyed myself
    The kids did
I thought the staff was friendly.
    And it's not overpriced

    Will be back
    When I'm in the area

  2. 3.5 stars.

Good, but not great, pizza.  As others have mentioned it's not as thin and crispy as some of the best Brooklyn style pizzas.  It's a little thicker and doughy-er.  Still very good though, particularly the Margherita which has sweet, chunky tomato sauce plopped strategically on top along with mozzarella, basil and garlic.  You can't go wrong.  It's just not world-class 5 stars as others on Yelp say.  Perhaps 5 stars for Seacaucus…

Il Forno has an expansive Italian lunch and dinner menu, and in the warmer months they have an outside patio for al fresco dining.  They also have convenient delivery for the area, including the Harmon Meadow hotel and shopping areas.

  3. Ordered a grilled eggplant sandwich.  Great bread, nice amount of mozz, very fresh and light.  Came quick by a nice delivery guy.  Will order again.  Good prices

  4. I had Ilforno delivery the other day. I'm trying to find a delivery place to Secaucus that has really good cheesesteak. I have a new drinking strategy that involves Step 1: Eat half a cheesesteak before I go out. Step 2: keep an eye on the time. Step 3: BAC myself with my awesome BACTrac so I don't go overboard. This has been extremely successful for me despite the quality of cheesesteak.

I haven't been able to find a good cheesesteak spot though. I wasn't really a fan of this one. I didn't like the cheese, and the steak wasn't juicy. Someone recommend me something PLEASE!

The pasta fagioli was really good though. Is it normal to eat pasta fagioli when you're sick? I like to just eat it normally, but I don't really enjoy chicken noodle soup, and I'm thinking I might keep this place in mind for when I'm ill too. Why not?

Saw some other reviews say they have the best pizza, so I'm looking forward to trying it at some point. To be continued…

  5. Great pizza. Whether you're getting a Sicilian pizza or the traditional pizza you'll won't make a bad choice. The pizza is crispy and fresh with a sauce that isn't too sweet. They're also not stringy with their toppings. On our last visit we got the "Illforno Works" and it was one of the best multi-topping pizzas I've had.

They also have a nice outside seating area in the back that is fairly large. The only negative thing is that you have to pay to park across the street.
