Stay away! Owner's son has been arrested for raping a woman while hewas delivering pizzas! See NY Post. Or, you can order from here and have 50 50 odds of being raped or burglarized and your consolation prize will be barely edible pizza.
My friend recommended Sal's for late night pizza. Unfortunately, I was not particularly impressed. For a quick slice, I would rather walk a few blocks down and get a slice elsewhere. I got a pepperoni slice and it was ridiculous over priced and average, at best.
The pizza is pretty average, but the prices are ridiculous. Way overpriced in my honest opinion.
Pretty standard slice. Good hole in the wall kind of place — but not dirty. Kind guy behind the counter. Really did the trick on a Saturday night! Open until 3:30!
They have Italian ice here! That's really the only reason we went in. It was great on a hot day & it's an oasis in a sea of places that don't have them in the area.
