We were visiting family in the area and after a nice stroll along the water and checking out the amazing views of NYC, it was time to eat. My son has a small (serious) pizza addiction and as we walked along we came upon this neighborhood pizza joint! We had no choice and had to go because the moment my son saw pizza, he was on it like butter on popcorn!
We ordered an XL cheese pie, a dozen hot buffalo wings, fries, two sodas and 2 large iced teas. And I was glad that the wings were fried and not baked! The iced tea was very refreshing, the wings were hot and crispy but a few pieces seemed to be a tad bit salty! The fries, crispy coated goodness! I devoured them with a side of mayo and all the family agreed that the pizza was "good."
The service was genuine and friendly. The guys in there were very attentive and when we had several requests for various things they filled the request with zero attitude or hesitation.
I have a feeling that we might be visiting them again before the weekend is over. If I lived in the neighborhood I would most likely be a regular. Until then, I'll visit when I'm around.
