Great People and great food. When it comes to Italian food this is the best place in Lynbrook. Old school place with old country ties that you can taste in the food.
the pizza is not my favorite, but OMG the food yes!.
This is a great place to come for some guaranteed good pizza. There's two parts to this place, there's the classic pizza joint part where you come in and get a couple of slices or a pie and sit down to eat or take it out, then there's the restaurant part.
The pizza is delicious, very good, just the right amount of sauce, tomato and cheese, it's actually extra cheesy which I love.
The restaurant serves up some pretty good Italian fare, they give you a nice bread basket and when I used to I got partially drunk on some good white wine here.
Definitely one of the finer pizza and Italian restaurants of Lynbrook.
I have lived one town away from this restaurant my whole life and didn't know about it until a friend at work (Tony "The Cheese") recommended it. I am so glad that it was recommended!! This is a great family owned old school Italian restaurant! From what I was told the food at this restaurant hasn't changed since it has opened. The owners only use the best ingredients, I would know because my friend used to deliver them. All of the traditional classics are on the menu, but it doesn't stray beyond that. The eggplant parm is great! The red sauce is delicious, you know they are using great tomatoes. The cheese was layered between the eggplant and on top; the way it's supposed to be. Most other restaurants just pile the cheese on top. The penne ala vodka is great; the sauce is different from most, it had a lot more texture. They use quality large shrimp, not the cheap shrimp that are full of preservatives. Even the simplest thing, a side of broccoli served with garlic, oil, and a lemon wedge- so old school, so good!! And lets not forget the bread sticks they are amazing! Seriously if I'm taking the time to write about bread sticks you need to get some! The owners Mike and Tom are so welcoming and friendly! This restaurant is the real deal!! Go get some!!
Not sure how I've forgotten to write a review for my favorite pizzeria on Long Island! This place is the real deal. Old fashioned and family oriented staff/owners and the pizza is absolutely delicious. Always fresh and it's obvious they always use quality ingredients. I've tried their pizza, garlic knots, and eggplant parmigiana and everything has been fantastic. There isn't enough that I can say about Gallery IV, but you DO need to go here if you haven't.
