Very good Sheepshead Bay restaurant serving the cuisine of Central Asia. Menu features some Uzbek, Tajik and Georgian dishes. Meal started with a warm loaf of Uzbek bread. Tried the samsa pie with seasoned meat and onions which was outrageous. Those alone are worth a trip back. Plov was very well made with ample lamb meat and very tasty as was the lamb kebob. Service is about as friendly as a brick wall with someone flipping the middle finger spray painted on it. I would rate this place five stars but service is exceptionally cold. Prices, however, are very reasonable. Recommended for the food, not the service.
this place is so so good, even though its small, it feels like home with the way they decorate it
this food really hits home for my family from Tajikistan, everything is so fresh flavorful and theres so many options.
samsa and manti are amazing, also loved the cheburek
always hot fresh bread , with huge portions for a low cost
the service hear can get hectic on crowded nights so beware
and yes you can bring your own booze!
