When we first met 4 years ago, you had me at "Big Mack Daddy."”
“No sandwich shop in the neighborhood rivals their semolina bread and the hot turkey sandwich and the cobb are my personal favorites.”

They really get 2.5 but I will be nice.
Ambiance: Small and trendy.
Service: Staff is not rude but they emit this "I'm too cool to be cheerful" vibe.
Food: I had the Spicy Rizzak and I wasn't crazy about the bread because it made the sandwich a bit dry. I feel like they could has been a bit more generous with the turkey and bacon. Other than this it was quite tasty and not too spicy; the portion of sandwich was good. The sandwiches come with potatoes chips.
Price: $10 and up but I feel like the quality is more like $6. Guess you pay for the area.
LES can often be cute and this is a perfect example.
A tiny space that manages to pull off charm with two walls of windows, a wood cottage look, and a friendly and efficient female staff.
It's coffee, sandwiches and salads, with a European edge and 2 size options for sandwiches at $7 and $11.
When I ordered a spinach side salad for $5, I had no idea it would be so perfect or for that matter an exact meal. It was large for the price with large blocks of Swiss cheese on top, healthy sundried tomatoes, and homemade croutons. I got it with sesame ginger dressing, and things were alright in the world.
You can relax here.
A small salad, a soda and a double espresso – $11.
Benches outside allow for a nice downtown neighbourhood summer ambiance.
Counter to go or table service.
Curry chicken sandwich…is…amazing…
This sandwich shop is one I treat myself to at least once a month because I couldn't afford eating a buffalo chicken sandwich everyday of my life. If I had the choice, I would but we all have to resist temptation. The big Mack daddy is also a very good vegetarian way of the Big Mac, much healthier and WAY more tasty. If you're on the lower east side take a stroll to tinys!
Believe the hype! The Big Mack Daddy is the bastard love child of the Big Mac and a vegan chef, and this hybrid bastard child has surpassed its father by becoming one of the veggie burgers around. Even carnivores will dig it.
Neither tiny nor giant, but delicious nonetheless.
For such an expansive food neighborhood, LES is lacking basic sandwich shoppes. Tiny's is the perfect hipster, upscale version of what you'd find somewhere in Midtown (aka much better). While not everything here is a home-run, most of it is tasty and reliable;
The Good
— The Spicy Rizzak…easily the best sandwich on the menu but not for those faint of spice tolerance.
— The semolina bread you can order with any sandwich is top notch. Killer flavor and always fresh.
— The regular mayo. Is it made from premium lard? Is it made in-house? Is it just mayo from a Hellmann's tube parading as gourmet…their well-contrived brand identity tricking me to think otherwise?
— Atmosphere is cozy with beautiful natural light.
— They don't seem to mind if you loiter a bit as long as you've been previously sipping or noshing on something. Ask for the WiFi password at the counter.
The Bad
— The salads are painfully mediocre, although plentiful.
— The service is hit or miss depending on the day.
— The order-to-sandwich-in-hand is a bit longer than you'd expect.
— Seating is a bit cramped.
The Ugly
— It's the LES, nothing is ugly unless intentionally made to be. Important to note that you likely will not have a bad meal at Tiny's.
I recommend Tiny's if you work or live in the area, or are craving sandwiches while on the LES. For the best possible experience make sure to tear up a Spicy Rizzak.
So as far as vegetarian sandwiches go, this place make kick ass ones. But if you're not vegetarian then I recommend you make your way to Cheeky's instead. I enjoyed my sandwich a lot but given my two options I'm likely to frequent Cheeky's over this place.
lovely place, excellent lighting!
ppl are super nice there and it's vegetarian-friendly. They have two portions of the sandwich $3-4 differences: smaller one is a size of a burger almost and the larger one is a full sandwich.
I didn't really enjoy the iced latte, it's a bit too diluted.. Might try the homemade soda next time for sure! And hey, free wifi! So why not?
