  1. This is a really reasonable deli that afforded me to purchase a breakfast sandwich without breaking the bank so early in the morning.  I'm very simple and like pretty much the same thing all of the time, egg whites and American cheese on a buttered roll ($2.30).  It was ready fast and I was fairly pleased with the outcome.  But they could've added a little more egg whites…

  2. Had the BB Lover ($9.95) this time around. It probably would have been a better option for me to have ordered ahead of time since it was peak lunch hours. Waited about ten minutes for the order to be ready. Had BBQ chicken ( I believe) with bacon, aged cheddar and onions. The BBQ was more of a sauce they used in their sandwich as opposed to a BBQ flavored meat. Since the sauce was put in the sandwich, there was only sauce on half my sandwich. However, the part that did have the sauce was good. It's a little messy to eat, but soooo worth it. Sign of a good sandwich.
Will be back to try a new sandwich!

  3. Well 5 stars for probably the best bacon egg cheese sandwhich I have had, it was just perfect, the second one I had not so much but I will give you the bebfit of the doubt.

  4. If you want an overstuffed sandwich that will last you two meals, this is the place to go! They have an extensive menu of hot/cold sandwiches, wraps, etc. The club sandwich and the hot mess are my favorites and they give you a side of potato salad, macaroni salad, or cole slaw to go with it too. They're all decently priced for the amount of food you get too.

  5. Good variety of tasty sandwiches. They really pack in the meat (at least the one that I got) and the price isn't so bad either. Average of about $10. They have a fair amount of seats and it is right outside of the subway station. I'll be back for sure to try more sandwiches in the future!

  6. This place live sup to it's reputation. There are about 40 sandwiches to choose from with fabulous names. There's so many options you can think of. This deli is no frills but makes a mean sandwich. My husband and I really enjoyed our choices and can't wait to go back. This place gets REALLY crowded around meal times so keep that in mind. There is some seating, but not too much. It's cash only.

  7. Great local corner deli with a large menu and fresh food. I always get the Gunner its skirt steak , melted pepper jack and Vermont cheddar cheese, portobello mushrooms , grilled onions , Russian dressing , and hot sauce on a toasted garlic hero. Good for a stop off the subway or if your driving by.

  8. I was in the area for the day and wanted something to eat so where do I look for some grub, you know it good ole Yelp. I checked my bookmarks and saw quite a few places I wanted to check out in the area.  Tasty Deli had some great reviews and I remember one of the reviews stating that the sandwiches were very filling which was right up my alley since I was starving. Parking is very limited in the area and I lucked out on finding metered parking right in front of the deli.

I arrived at the deli right around lunch time-1ish and it wasn't packed but not empty either. When I walked in it seemed a lot smaller than I thought with a few tables on the side for patrons wanting to sit and eat.  I looked up at the various menus on the wall and was overwhelmed. I was like a kid in the candy store with so many options and just didn't know what to choose. It really took me about five minutes to make up my mind because there were several menu items that tickled my starving taste buds. Thank goodness the staff were pleasant and patient which they should be especially for newbies like myself.

I finally decided on the "hot mess" sandwich that consisted of "Red spicy chicken, Cajun turkey, grilled onions, guacamole, jalisco sauce and jack cheese on a toasted hero." I requested no guacamole and waited about 5 minutes for my sandwich AKA hero AKA sub. For $9, it was a thick and fulfilling sandwich. I ate half for lunch and had the other half for dinner.  I started eating my sandwich in my car on my way home and made a mess with all the juice and stuff coming out as I bit into the scrumptiousness. The different flavors with a kick of spiciness was soooo good. I usually don't like my bread toasted because it gets hard and falls apart but this bread was lightly toasted and still soft and warm the way I love. That "hot mess" sandwich lived up to its name and was worth every penny of $9. I will definitely keep this place bookmarked to check out what other sandwiches can live up to that "hot mess." LOL
