The froyo was yummy and the toppings were all super fresh. The staff was a bit dry, like I wasn't sure if they were doing ME a favor by working lol. They barely said hello, didn't engage us in conversation and weren't particularly friendly. Even my teen nephew commented on how they came off fake lol! When I asked for sample cups, they looked at me like I was crazy and only gave us 2 tiny cups. There are a ton of these places on the west coast and this is a customary practice. I understand that people can take advantage of this, but it doesn't matter. I find that this lack of service tends to be the case when teens/young adults work in food establishments. Anywho, the salted caramel was DELICIOUS and I love the snickers topping!
I'm glad the 16 handles franchise has made it all the way out to long island! I was craving some fro-yo (even tho it was freezing outside). They're open late and had quite a bit of foot traffic at nearly 10pm on a weeknight. They'll give you sample cups if you ask.
They have the standard flavors and then some fun ones like salted caramel and pistachio. They also have many options for toppings from nuts to marshmallow frosting to frosted animal crackers– though I really wish they had captain crunch!
