  1. Was a huge fan of the previous Bread Love and so glad they're back.  Went for breakfast here last week (my fave of their previous selections) and was not disappointed. Had the hash breakfast while my wife had the regular selection (sorry, can't recall the names).  The only drawback was that my dish didn't say it came with bacon, but then there it was on my plate…and I don't eat bacon – though my wife was happy to get extra.

Nonetheless, the service was pretty good and the backyard seating was truly comfortable. Like the previous location, the customers are the best advertisement and a lady who chatted us up was praising the place.  No doubt. Didn't get to sample any breads as I wasn't in the mood for anything sweet, but I will be back.  Absolutely.

  2. Go here for good food! Clean eats on Fulton St, wow! 3.5 stars.

My girlfriends and I had an unexpected amazing breakfast at Breadlove. The cheese grits were flavored just right, the accommodating veggie mix with sautéed kale, onions and some other great completing veggies taste great. The turkey sausage is similar to a turkey hot dog but with flavor and grilled not boiled (it's good). The chicken and waffles were good, the chicken was a marinated breast battered and fried, seasonings woke up my taste buds.

Why only three stars since I raved about the food. The decor turned me off a bit. It has a rustic feel but it's almost a little unfinished. The backyard needs sprucing up and the bathroom felt like a truck stop. There was also "junk" laying around towards the backyard. It has similarities of a dive bar but that's not the feel I want when I'm buying food.

Good customer service, good food but still appears to be a work in progress on the esthetics.

  3. Came to Bread Love today for the first time for some brunch. It's a cute little cafe that has a backyard with tables for seating. The day was pretty hot and the tables in the shade were already taken so decided to eat inside. You order at the counter then the food is brought to you. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the turkey burger and fries. We were expecting the food would take really long but it was reasonable. Came sooner than I thought. I really enjoyed my chicken and waffles. Waffles were yummy and the chicken strips were crispy and well seasoned. Staff was very nice. The plastic cutlery were a bit flimsy, made cutting up my chicken a challenge but that is all. I guess I can live it.
