  1. This review is for their newest location – Hoboken. The space is small but it's nicely located.
Impressive cupcake selection – I got 6 stuffed cupcakes for close to $20. The cakes were good but crumbled after the first bite. This made it a bit tricky to eat. I wasn't a fan of the icing on any of the cupcakes. It tasted like the normal store bought frosting.
This will be a first and last for me. Ive been to many cupcake bakeries in the area and NYC and I've experienced better quality.

  2. So delicious.

When I'm overwhelmed with good flavor options I gamble and randomly pick one (unless it's really terrible sounding, then I pick again.) I ended up with the Tres Leches which is "Vanilla Cupcake, Stuffed With Tres Leches Custard, Topped With Whipped Cream and a Cherry."

I guess with the stuffing it becomes so moist it's hard to take sensible bites. The whipped cream topping was so good too. Whenever I've gotten cupcakes from say a grocery store, I find the cupcake part to be dry and the frosting way too sweet I end up scraping most of it off. Every part of this was so tasty I ate it quicker than I was planning to.

It was empty when I went but it was difficult to find parking. I can't fault them for that as it's probably a prime location because it's busy, but I almost gave up going until I found a spot on side street. It's near Nutley High School so I imagine all the cool kids come by after school. If it's not a problem for you to get parking and you come by, a definite must try.

  3. Love these cupcakes.   Always fresh and delicious and the variety of cupcakes available on a daily basis is fantastic.  Like the name implies all their cupcakes ate 'stuffed', filled with all kinds of yummy ingredients.   My y favorites are the Butterscotch Kiss: Vanilla cupcake stuffed with Butterscotch mousse, vanilla icing and Butterscotch chips.   The Coco Loco is a Coconut cupcake stuffed with coconut mousse, vanilla icing and shredded coconut.   It's like a standard Snowfall on steroids.   They also offer Gluten free products.   There is a great selection and easy to find what you might be craving. Jaret's is a cute comfortable place with several  tables and they also offer cold drinks if you choose to stay and enjoy your cupcake right away.   The staff is always nice and very helpful if you need assistance.

  4. $3.50 for a cupcake, what?! Yes, they're pricy but they're absolutely perfect. One of the best cupcake shops I've ever been to. I wouldn't pay for them if I felt I could make them better by myself but I can't. Jarets you win.

Someone wrote that some of the cupcakes are "hit or miss" but that's not necessarily true. You can't hate on the "weird" cupcakes just because YOU don't find it appealing. Someone out there in the world is gonna like it. Yes, some seem kind of odd but whatever; the point is they have something for everyone. There are so many cake, stuffing, frosting and toppings combinations that there's no way someone could walk in here and not find something they like.

When you buy cupcakes, they label the containers for you so you don't forget which one is which. This is really helpful especially when you buy a bunch. They also have coffee, lattes and other baked goods but I've never had them. I love this place, I will go out of my way again to come here like I have in the past.

  5. I was not impressed. What a let down.

The cupcakes were NOT terrible, but they were NOT amazing like other people say. Maybe its because i came around 7:30 PM and they weren't super duper fresh but i was just not impressed.

The word STUFFED is used lightly here, they were not stuffed at all. it was a weak attempt at being stuffed with something. I had the "Elvis" and "Sexy Sadie" or something like that. They were cold and the frosting was hard. My friend got the Red velvet, i looooove red velvet but its so easy to make so i didn't get it. however, the cream cheese frosting was pretty good ill give them that.

  6. I moved to Nutley from Las Vegas 3 months ago.
I love all the little cafes and mom and pop restaurants.
Today me and my son came in and had a "moms favorite" and I ordered "the Nutley"
A little disappointed there was a more empowered chocolate taste than the Nutella.
I didn't taste it at all actually.
I wouldn't have gone back, but the young brunette girl at the counter was really sweet and friendly.
For the most part I give it a 5 star

Could use a little music, but finding parking was fine.
And my son was happy for the after school treat!

I later learned that thier cupcake truck was seen  outside ShopRite and heard the driver purchased boxed cake mix

  7. I love cupcakes! My hubby brought these home on yesterday. I'd never heard of the bakery and am not always a big fan of stuffed cupcakes but these cupcakes were great. The cake was very very moist. The filling wasn't to sweet or overwhelming. The icing was a bit much but still tasty. I tried the lemon and pistachio. Both were very good. I would definitely go back to stuffed cupcakes. They were a little pricey at $20 for      6 but I guess that is also BC they are stuffed? Nonetheless, give it a try!

  8. I am not a fan of cupcakes, but this place changed my perspective a bit. I love that they are stuffed. Many cupcakes I have tried have all the flavoring in the icing,  and that's just as disappointing as a bad haircut. The flavor is throughout the entire cupcake here. I think even without it being stuffed you will still taste it in the actual batter. I got the tres leche and the caramel  (don't remember exact name).  Both were good, but the tres leche was spot on. The only thing is both cupcakes were extremely rich; like hello diabetes!! I needed a great deal of water afterwards. Overall still yumsters!!:-):-):-)

The highlight though …was the nutella hot chocolate!!! Omg I fell in love. Think I had a foodgasm, or shall I say cocogasm!  Omg who does that!??!  I do!! Yes, I moaned between sips. It caught me of guard. You know when your face scrunches up , eye brows pressed down, and you look at it and think…dam what are you doing to me!!??! (Like a good lap dance) Is this love, or lust????!!!?  That was the best darn hot chocolate I ever had in my life!!!! It was so good I make it at home with nutella, but it's nothing like the real thing baby!! Wow!! Sorry having flashbacks. I will definitely come back to tickle my sweet tooth!!!!
