Freddy is from France, really down-to-earth, knowledgeable and helpful. He hosts tastings on Friday evenings with various vendors and the prices are just right.
Since the owner is French – there are definitely many varieties of interesting French wines (St. Emilion, Chateauneuf-Du-Pape, Bordeaux, Sancerre, Chardonnay, Cab Franc… ). He also has an amazing Champagne (the real deal, from the Champagne region) that does not break the bank! A total hit when I have served it…
The store is translated to Table Wine – Freddy does not carry extremely high-end bottles for a reason (I have not seen anything above ~$60) . It seems like he is trying to provide accessibility AND quality, which is smart considering where this store is located.
