Really nothing special.
My boyfriend and I picked up a few special rolls for take out. They all tasted the same. A bit overpriced for the quality.
The sushi was clean, fresh, and tasty. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. A great place to get a quick bite.
My favorite part is that they named their rolls after cars! Cute!
Five stars for simple and clean eats!
Ordered delivery tonight and was very happy with it! Quick service, and free edamame with our order (ohh yeah). We got an assortment of rolls and the tofu teriyaki. All were delicious considering that it was delivery sushi. We were thrilled with the price – you really can't beat it!! We will definitely be ordering from here again soon.
I'm sorry but I do not understand all of the rave reviews for this place.
My boyfriend and I stopped in today. From the outside, it appeared closed. But then we noticed a sign that said open. So we went in.
Today was 90+ degrees out. The aircondition was barely on. That always skeeves me out in a sushi place. The restaurant should be ice cold. You're serving raw fish, the restaurant should be as cold as the fridge it came out of. Strike one.
There was just one other patron in the entire joint. The sushi chefs were just standing around looking like they were dying of boredom. Not really appealing.
We placed our order quickly. Service was efficient at least. Drinks were filled quickly and we were brought both miso soup and green salad before our entrees. I didn't enjoy the ginger dressing at all. It had an odd flavor and an offputting texture.
As for the sushi. I ordered the sushi lunch. 6 pieces with a California roll. $8.99?! What a steal. I was wrong. 2 of the pieces (snapper and mackerel) were inedible. They were tough. The rice to fish ratio was completely off. Also, the piece of tuna tasted rancid. Strike 2.
My boyfriend ordered a 2 roll lunch and he seemed to like it. Eel avocado had too much avocado though. And his "spicy" yellowtail roll was not even the least bit spicy.
The 2 specialty rolls weren't amazing. For the price, I wouldn't order them again.
Thank god for the $10 off yelp check in or I would have been really upset.
I will not return. There are many more sushi places closer to home that have fresh fish.
