  1. On a quit side street in a west village street of lovely brownstones is a small neighborhood coffee shop with a few tables inside and two benches outside.  It's always chill, the coffee is good the service is fast and there is a breakfast and lunch menu.

There is a little bit of stillness and peace on this New York street and this place has a good product without tourists.

  2. More of a 2.5 star 🙁

Chocolate croissant – superb. Flaky on the outside and soft on the inside.

White mocha latte – meh. It tasted very artificially sweetened. A bit disappointed. Pretty expensive for what it is too.

  3. Nice neighborhood pit-stop for a coffee. Prices are tolerable and the digs and dishes are unpretentious. There are some newspapers around for you to read.

  4. 3.5 Stars.  A nice little cafe/coffee shop in the middle of a nice residential neighborhood.  I stopped here for breakfast and a quite cup of coffee.  The staff was very nice – maybe the best part about this place.   I felt very welcome here and almost like I was invited to a neighbors house for breakfast.  Its a very small location with maybe 12 total seats, and its very crammed in.

The coffee was decent, but nothing special.  I also ordered the pesto, mozzerella scrambled eggs in a whole wheat wrap.  It was also decent, but again really nothing notable.  This was pretty forgettable, but not in a bad way necessarily.  They just serve decent breakfast and lunch at a decent price with decent coffee.  So if you are walking by, sure stop in, but don't go out of your way.

  5. Coffee is overpriced and the staff wasn't friendly or helpful at all.  I sat with my coffee and pulled out my laptop.   About 10 minutes later no one told me they were closing; they simply let me know by starting to turn off the lights.   Plus they serve food and don't have a bathroom which I'm pretty sure is a health code violation.

**check out the owner's response to my review.   Nothing about how rude the staff were, just an all-caps lesson on the ins and outs of the NYC health code, which I said I wasn't sure about.   Says it all right there.   FACT.

  6. Tiny cafe with wifi and outlets but no public restrooms so if you plan to stay here to work, that would be unfortunate. Mediocre lattes, and okay counter service.  Good to stop in if you're in the area or just want to escape the cold.

  7. Egg sandwiches on biscuits!  These are not Pillsbury biscuits that will crumble just looking at them.  These are real biscuits with a very crispy crust and tender inside.  Do not be scared by the fact they are in a window and are reheated.  Delicious.  The coffee is above average.  The few tables that were at 11th Street Cafe were full so I had to take my sandwich to go.

  8. This place is perfection.

I'm from Seattle and anytime I'm in NYC, I make it a point to visit this little cafe.  I always order a cappuccino.  I'm picky about coffee and I find theirs to be excellent.  Their fresh squeezed orange juice is some of the best I've ever had.  And their whole wheat wrap burrito with scrambled eggs, cheese, tomato and chive is to die for.  I've also had a biscuit and egg sandwich; also very good.  I'm sure the rest of their menu is good too but I can't get past these items.  Today I traveled from the Upper East Side area down to the Village, just to go here.  I've been here upwards of 20 times and have never had surly or rude service.  I find that all over New York, people are more reserved.  They aren't warm and bubbly, but I don't need them to be when I'm ordering food.  They just get down to business and that's fine with me.
