I LOOOOOVE this market!!! I'm going to seriously miss it when I move. The people are SOOO nice. If you don't have exact change, and they don't have the right coinage to give you change, they round down and tell you to get it to them next time. The produce is fresh. You have to look, like at any market, and they do focus on produce that the clientele of the area tend to buy more frequently. But it's nice. You can also buy colognes, undergarments, and other discounted grocery items throughout the little market. It's quite the gem!
One of my favorite green markets. This market is open on Thursday from 6/28/12 to 11/15/12. Amazing fresh produce variety and excellent prices. Few of the farmers offer bargains like 2 for $5 or 3 for $4 on lettuce, carrots, kale. There are a few Mexican specialty farmers with tomatillo, papalo, and peppers. The stellar market nutrition classes are great too. They pick items from the market and show you great ways to use them.
