On a quest to find a large bottle of light Margarita for our upcoming beach weekend with our college buddies, I popped into 333 Wine Heaven yesterday. I had never been there before but was impressed with the selection of wine and liquors in such a small space. The light Margarita I had bought last time I was tasked with this responsibility seemed to have been discontinued so I needed to find a substitute. The lovely older woman behind the counter helped me select a handle of this delightful beverage made by Jose Cuervo, assuring me that it was delicious and only a dollar more than a bottle of Skinnygirl half its size. I would come back if the need should arrive, as I was pleased with my experience.
So I'm not really sure how to rate wineries seeing as how I don't drink, but I visited this shop when my friend was looking for her booze fix. I'm not too into the alky since I love tea so much more, but this place is cute and charming and a lot of that has to do with the fact that two dear mature women who are friendly as they come own the shop and add to the environment of it not being just some typical winery. Their positivity and charm rub off on you while you're in the shop and it almost makes it cozy! How straange to get all this from simply visiting a winery! But my friend purchased the cutest wine bottle– strawberry flavored w/ actual floating strawberries in it. But wow! She offered me a sip and man, that was some strong stuff! I purchased a wee-little-bottle of smirnoff for a gift for a friend. Great place to go for wine purchases!
Great wine pick up option in Kips Bay! Glad we found it! We went straight to the $12.99 or less wine section and were not disappointed. Familiar brands were only a couple bucks more than what we're used to paying in Dallas – not too bad. I'll take it!
Jack the kitteh is so cute. He looked so peaceful sleeping on his perch!
