Wooo! A brand new Halal cart on the corner of Fort Hamilton Parkway in Borough Park?
Welcome! Now quite frankly, I'm not sure if we are in need of one in the area or if it will be popular for the locals here. However, more diverse food choices! I am supportive of this! This cart opened not too long ago. Its bright colors is most attractive at night, advertising their Chicken Over Rice and gyros. I see quite a few of young kids lining up for it during after school hours. Prices are standard for most carts.
Chicken over rice and Falafel Gyros. These two are the things I tried after arriving late night to my parents' place. Chicken meat was moist and tasty but the rice was just a bit dry. Falafel was pretty dry as well… but the pita was soft and hot when I bite into it, so that was nice. Overall, it is not bad for a street cart. Also! They also got shawarma meat which I look forward to try next!
