I had this restaurant bookmarked after seeing a fellow yelper always checking in here, Lina A. :-). My friend and I stopped here one afternoon for lunch and I had the lunch special of chicken, rice and beans that came with some plantains. The food portions were good and the taste was delicious. I was able to eat lunch and had leftovers for later. The place was pretty crowded for the early afternoon. However, we didnt wait long and the lines moved fairly quick. There were a few people sitting an eating in the few tables and chairs. However, this place is more of a takeout spot especially since it's not that big and if it's crowded it could get real tight for space. No big complaints and I will be back when Im in the neighborhood.
Authentic Dominican food that tastes really good. Totally worth it and the prices are reasonable. The staff are very nice!
