I love this little market! It's open Saturdays 6am – 6pm year round. There are a great selection of vendors with great local produce, bread, baked goods, organic free range poultry and meat. Inside the school gym you'll find a flea market. Notable vendors: -Hoboken Farms for great bread, prepared gourmet meals, pasta, the best jar of pasta sauce ever "Big Red", and homemade fresh mozzarella. -Pickle and olive guy.. (need i say more). Love the full sour spicy pickles! -Kimchi Lady (she's not always there but her homemade kimchi is great and she makes a vegetarian version without the shrimp paste in it). -Polish guy. He makes a great keilbasa (choose beef or pork) on the grill and yummy pirogi. He also sells all kinds of polish delicacies to prepare at home. -Produce guys in the school yard (right hand side). They're from Pennsylvania and the produce is great and cheap compared to the local supermarket. Not to mention the quality is 10x better. The baked goods are made by an amish baker, they sell organic free range chicken and eggs, organic yogart and butter. They have really good tomatoes and berries. -Produce stand on the street – from upstate NY. They always have beautiful flowers. Top quality produce, often different things than the guys in the school yard.
Go early (before noon) to get the best pick and beat the crowd!
Great selection of organic produce. Love the taste and the price is great.
There is a male/female team I think husband and wife who have the best produce by far. Across from them is a team of guys that is OK –but feels more like a business than buying from the farmers themselves.
Polish guys's stuff is ok, meats are great, but baked goods are hard as rock and not moist.
The vintage jewelry and photos looks like all WAY over priced junk to me, but one man's trash is another man's treasure …. or something like that.
Bring your $$ Cash ONLY.
I usually spend like $20 and come away with two huge bags filled with: Kale, tomatoes, apples, squash, fresh herbs, potatoes, onions, bell peppers, hot peppers.
