If you have $2 bucks in your pocket and need a very quick bite this is it.
One of the quickest grease fixes ever. lol Get the pan-fried buns (4 for $2) or pork dumplings. They also have noodles and turnip cakes.
The line is practically non-existant. You get here, fight for someone who's behind the counter attention, order then run. Not gonna lie, it's hard not being rude to rude people who are trying to order while you are trying to order. I only stop by when I'm starving and about to get on the 7 train.
There's some sitting available, as well as a window that sells the drinks, like bubble tea and soda.
Cute name, busy cheap dim sum-ish grub for takeout, $2 for pan seared mini pork buns, $1.75 for 3 chives shrimp dumpling, $2 for pork egg porridge, etc. Not bad for the price but make sure you finish everything the same day… Everything spoils very quickly.
It can't replace aa plaza (RIP) but its like yummy dim sum that's next door. Cheap, fast, and authentic Chinese food. They also sell bakery breads. They sell dim sums unlike yummy dim sum they dont. Pricing is around the same. Their chicken drumstick is huge and its for a dollar. They don't sell scallion pancake. Its a great place for a quick bite before heading to the train and or bus.

What a cute name and on the block of one of the entrances to the 7 line. My mom took me here on Saturday night where she got a 2 bucks of a small Lo Mein. Definitely cheap and affordable prices. There's a section on the left side when you enter to eat while standing up. Small bakery at the left and variety noodles and etc to the right.
Small Chinese takeout restaurant that just lets you pick up things quick for cheap
1.50$ will get you four dumplings
And 2$ will get you pan fried buns
If you want noodles they give a lot for the small price they charge
The only issue I have with this place is The seating in the area isn't always clean and its small too but I still highly recommend it
Express is definitely correct. Not sure why they had to call it 7 express though.. (yes, I know it's next to the train station, but couldn't come up with a more creative name?)
Anyway, I came here to get the egg tarts that were delicious. Flaky crust and yummy custard. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the actual food. But the giant drumstick you can get for $1 seems good. Judging from the food on display, it seems legit good, cheap food.
Good to grab food on the go. You can stand and eat, there's a little bar counter thing, if you have no one where to eat.
Dirt cheap staple Chinese food served quickly and in abundance. This, my friend, is the epitome of a Chinatown food joint.
Differs from the underpass joint that used to be by the LIRR (did it even have a name?) which served similar foods in that it has the following:
– eat-in area
– self-serve station
– beverages available for purchase (soda, water, Chinese iced tea)
– wider selection of food (including sandwiches and Chinese-style cakes).
Oh, highly recommend the pan-fried buns (shen jian bao). Perfectly greasy choice of indulgence.
Nice place for some cheap, greasy Chinese food. This is more of a takeout place as there are only a handful of stools inside. On the left hand side are their $3.00 meals – You get a plate of white rice, meat (such as sesame chicken) and a vegetable. Generous portions for such a low price. On the right side, there is another stall that sells the usual street food style items: dumplings (4 for $1.50), fried rice, sandwiches, shao mai, scallion pancakes, carrot cakes, lo mein, and more. I really liked their fried chicken legs – they are very crispy. They have a very good special with two fried chicken legs with pork fried rice for only $3.00.
Great place to fatten up for only a few dollars.
