  1. Came here on a slow night . Waiters were on point with the drinks and service. My girls and I were just in there for fun . Got some finger food and drinks and then left. The place is small , but welcoming

  2. Not my type of place. It was crowded, loud, waited 20 mins for service then walked out. Saw the people at the table ahead of me get up and walk out as well. Have been here once before and hookah was ok.

  3. From a 516 number, 718 Hookah & Lounge & Grill made me want to change my area code.

Environment: Comfortable, red lights, couches, two huge television screens near the sitting area, long tables, and a bar area.

    Duration: Three Hours

    Drink: Whiskey

    Hookah: Mint

Overview: Like Beyonce, I was feeling myself, with my man to the left and my drink to the right with the ever so refreshing mint hookah…I was high off life. From one moment it was a lounge then it transitioned to a dancehall club. The Dj started to play Reggaeton (Nicky Jam, Tito El Bambino, Don Omar) and I got into position and started doing my two step whine on the couch. Dale, dale, dale, as I swayed left-to-right he thought I was inebriated…inebriated off that reggaeton and west indian tunes! Aside from the one female who decided twerk on my table (lucky I had to keep it cute because he thinks I'm innocent), I had a great time!

    I'm coming back…

  4. Lively, dim and crowded- this place is a hipsters den. Usually packed with people especially on weekends and game nights, this is one crowd puller place on Austin street. Their hookahs are great especially the pineapple one. The cocktail menu features a blue LIT which is quite high on booze.

  5. Decided to hangout here with my girls for a bit when 5 Burros had a 45 min wait but ended up staying here.

The bartenders made a delicious sangria. I was actually impressed. And a good size glass was only $7 bucks.

The owner was really nice and attentive to our needs.

The music was also pretty good. Sometimes it was current and sometimes it took me back in time. I like a DJ that can do that without making it corny.

My only complaint was the hookah, think the coal may not have been lit correctly because it died out pretty quick.

For a Thursday night I was surprised how packed the place was. Seemed like a lot of locals.

  6. i like this spot! i just moved to Jamaica queens and me and my wife didn't feel like going to the city so we went to dinner out in forest hills and walked into this. it was nice the DJ was playing some good music here and the staff is VERY nice everyone there the bouncers bartenders servers etc.

The Hookah lasts a long time as well and they come and give you more coal. other places usually dont but maybe when i went.. never had any food here, everytime i come the kitchen is closed.

i like it here check it out..

  7. Came here with my BFF after seeing they had both hookah and drinks. I didn't see any pictures of their food but trusted it would be ok. Their food menu isn't large so I stuck to the basic things you really can't mess up.?I wish I would've taken a pic of my food but I gobbled it down before I remembered I didn't snap one. I ordered the hot wings which were crispy the way I like them as well as the hummus which was also very good. I ordered a strawberry and blue mist hookah which turned out to be good also! The waitress was pretty and nice. She definitely needed help. She was the only waitress for the entire place outside of the bar staff. Great music also and they play the games if your into sports.

  8. Music – on point here. They play hip-hop, R&B, pop, EDM, Latin, and even some country! For the rare New Yorker who enjoys a little Sam Hunt or Luke Bryan, this was awesome to see at a hookah bar.

Hookah – overpriced and not long-lasting, probably because of the coconut coal, but strong. We got one cantaloupe and one mint and grape mixed. I had a good buzz going on. Guilt, be gone. Shisha, embrace my entire body.

Atmosphere – cozy, small, dimly lit, good for groups and dates, and attentive service. Our waitress was sweet. No dancing here (they don't have the permit for it).
