My husband and I had brunch with a coworker and her husband . We we greeted within a few minutes of getting there. The dining area had nice lighting. The host sat us down and mentioned to us that mimosas were going to be served at 12. She also mentioned the different "stations " . We all decided to really experience this brunch spread and they had a good selection. The variety was good. The only downside is the mimosas were light. I know that mimosas aren't supposed to be heavy on the champagne but they could've made them a tad bit stronger nonetheless unlimited mimosas were ok. Wait staff were on point to remove plates as soon as you finished as well as refilling water glasses and mimosas.
Came here for Sunday Champagne Brunch.
From the outside, you wouldn't think it was a restaurant.
There's a dance studio on the first floor & a day care on the third.
900 Park is located on the second floor.
The mimosa refills were ON POINT!
Before I could blink, my glass would be refilled.
My cup runeth over with mimosas & it was glorious!
Food is buffet style.
First stop is the omelette station.
You pick what you want in your omelette, tell them what table you're sitting at, & the bring it right to you.
Then it's all the breakfast items.
Followed by lunch, waffle station, clams/mussels, & dessert.
We ate until we couldn't eat anymore.
I mean, that's what you do at the buffet right?!
We made about 3 or 4 round before we tapped out.
Practically had to roll me up hill to get to the car.
There was an elderly gentleman at the table next to us who did about 8 laps effortlessly, no lie.
Only cons I had were that they ran out of penne ala vodka & how long it took to get the check.
Definitely would come back to El Bronx to come to this place.
I ordered in from here. The food came an hour late. The pasta was freezing cold, and the pizza was rock hard. They also refused to give our money back or even send new food because it was too late. I haven't tried ordering from here again, it's not worth it.
Solid italian spot with lots of options; nicely sized bar, lounge area with couches, large dining room, and private space for parties. The whole restaurant was glittering with holiday lights and trees. It was warm and cozy and perfect for a dinner with friends after a long work day. They have some fun martinis and cocktails, oversized and only $9 (cheap compared to Manhattan prices). However, I found my pomegranate martini watered down…. I wasn't even buzzed after two.
The bread was hot and crusty and served with flavored olive oil. We were quickly asked if we wanted more, but it took forever to get a refill. It also took FOREVER for our waiter to take our order, bring us drinks, second drinks, and eventually bring us the check. The busboy was more attentive to us and he couldn't really bring us anything we needed. It was late on a Thursday night with hardly anyone there, so I'm not even sure where what the waiter was doing.
The food wasn't bad, I'm snobby when it comes to italian food (nothing beats home cooked) but my linguine and clams was exactly what I needed.
I went to 900 Park for Mother's Day Buffet Brunch and found it to be ok.
The first thing I would say is that considering how packed it was it would be helpful to have the hostess stationed in one place so that you're able to check in with ease. As it turned out, she was walking around the restaurant so when customers entered, there wasn't any way to find out who you should go to check in. On a positive note, we were seated promptly as we had a reservation – I wasn't expecting that considering how crowded it was.
There was eleven people in my party and our table was a little tight but we made it work. The food stations were lined up against the back walls of the restaurant so going to get your food was no problem, however, maneuvering back to your table was like going through an obstacle course. It would have been better to have a clear aisle that you could walk down to return to your table.
Now, onto the food……they had quite a few selections from breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage) to lunch/dinner items (steak, chicken, rice). The food tasted great – was well seasoned and thoroughly cooked. I found getting refills on certain selections took quite a bit of time as we had to wait awhile for the raw seafood and fruit trays to be refilled and you had to make a "mad dash" to get them as a lot of people were waiting for refills too.
Our waitress did a great job making sure our drinks were refilled (bellinis, mimosas, sodas), again, considering the amount of people there I was impressed.
Overall, I liked the restaurant and would definitely like to go back, hopefully, on a less crowded day.
I have not done dinner at 900 Park in many years, but some friends and I wanted to do brunch so we decided to give them a try.
Located in the Morris Park area of the Bronx, 900 Park is one of many Italian restaurants in the area. From the curb, the restaurant looks like a multi-level eatery, but in reality it's sandwiched between a daycare center so the restaurant only takes up one floor. Inside, it's pretty spacious – their brunch is popular so they cram in a lot of tables but I would like to think during regular dinner service there's a little more room. I wasn't overwhelmed however by the number of people – it was crowded but comfortable. The decor was no frills – exposed brick on the walls with white chairs and tablecloths – simple but effective.
The brunch is bottomless – there are unlimited mimosas and bellinis with servers coming around refilling without you having to ask. The food is set up buffet style and I have to say they have a good selection. Breakfast items included bagels, scrambled eggs (plan or with salami), bacon, sausage, French toast, and banana French toast. Additionally there was a waffle and omelette station. Non-breakfast items included pizza, penne vodka, rigatoni scarpiello, chicken parmesan, sausage with peppers and onions, seafood paella, salad, red velvet cake, and cheesecake. I'm sure I'm missing some things but you get the idea – there's a lot of food and something for everyone. Coffee is available upon request.
The whole brunch is a good deal – everything came to ~$25 per person plus tax and tip. Service was pretty good as well, we didn't have a single server but they were attentive to us when we flagged them down (like when we needed coffee or for the cheque). Overall a good experience, I would come back for brunch and to rediscover their dinner service.
When your menu promises "fresh garden vegetables" it is not okay to serve frozen vegetables. Food was bland. Bread was stale. Overall no comparison to any place on Arthur Ave.
900 Park is a beautiful restaurant, but is notably lacking in substance. The white furniture and amber lighting give it the appearance of an upscale restaurant, but the slow service makes you a little agitated. They're not the most knowledgeable or quick staff.
The food is tasty, I had the spinach ravioli, but I wouldn't say it was worth the price. The best part was the chocolate lava cake dessert.
Also, I'm not crazy about the clientele. Like Tosca, and other Bronx haunts, this place is cougar city!
It's also really LOUD! and it's not sure if it wants to be a nightclub or restaurant, leaving the bar area to be cluttered and chaotic.
