Great food but a little pricey for the neighborhood. We've ordered food from here a few times before but they are more expensive than most restaurants in JH. We had dinner here with a friend on our last few weeks in JH. Service was perfectly fine and the food was quite good. I'd say it's better to dine in here than get take out.
We loved the rice, the chicken kebab, and the sizzling ground beef platter. It was all really good–I particularly liked the spices in the ground beef and there is a really tasty white sauce on the table that makes everything taste better. It is a little bit expensive considering the size of the portions and the neighborhood, but not shockingly so. Our only disappointment was when asking for our leftovers to go, they forgot to give us all the items we wanted wrapped up.
Generally speaking, the food here is good. They serve Afghan style bread, which tastes great with soup. The kebabs are delicious as well, the meat is fresh and well seasoned. I'm not a fan of their rice though since it has a clove flavor that is too strong for me. The price here is high, especially
compared to other kebab places in this area.
