Ajisen Ramen
“They have quality ramen without the ridiculous wait that makes us come here time and time again whenever we crave ramen.”
“Had some sort of spicy beef ramen, usually when I have ramen here at home, the beef is always tough and dry and the broth sucks which is why I usually prefer pho over ramen.”
“The noodles are surprisingly al dente rather than thick, soft and chewy.”

A very ok place with decent prices to match. It's a pretty small restaurant but they don't cram in the tables so there's a good amount of elbow space between you and the next table.
The servers are adequate. Not the cleanest place, but it's not terrible. The water cups are plastic, which I hate. The pork buns ($7 for 2) are ok. Nothing to write home about. The ramen ranges from $10-$12, very reasonable. The noodles are slightly overcooked and the broth is very basic. The miso ramen came with three pieces of pork, half an egg, and bean sprouts. The nigori sake was $12 for the 375ml bottle.
I enjoy the location because it is a japanese place not in the heart of the crazy 7th Ave but outside of it. It was not super crowded which is nice making it a quiet and relaxes outting. The waitress was really nice and accommodating and I was impressed that she memorized our whole order and everything was correct. I like the cool color schemes used in the interior. They have bubble tea and ones that actually tastes like tea and it comes in the containers like the bubble tea places. I got a passion fruit bubble tea and it was quite delicious! we also ordered a tuna special roll and it was pretty tasty! I also got a veggie curry which was pretty decent. And my friend got a ramen that she said was full of flavor. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and I hope to come back and try other things on the menu.
I've been having ramen and bubble tea here several times for the only reason that it is close to work. On a cold day, I really don't want to walk more than a few blocks to get a bowl of ramen. I always order Spicy Ajisen Ramen. Broth is always tasty and flavorful. Portion is decent for its price. However, what is up with the noodle?? It feels like angel hair pasta more than ramen. That is my only criticism. I love my ramen with soft noodle, but I don't think you can find it here.
Bubble tea is a fun drink. I usually get a normal bubble tea and it isn't overly sweet.
Service was fast. It was cold out, and as I walked by this resto I saw their sign 'it's ramen weather'…I first walked passed, did a u-turn and came back. I figured how bad could it be?
It wasn't bad. It was average. I had the ajisen ramen($9). The soup was good but lacked something. Not sure what. Maybe more salt? I added some chili sauce and that tasted better. The meat was yummy. Not very fatty which I liked. This could make it a bit dry but since it's in a soup, wasn't a huge problem. The noodles were good consistency. I like a little more al dente.
There are more ramen dishes. I'd definitely try some of the others. It's on my way home from work so a convenient location.
I can't even begin to explain how terrible my Spicy Miso Ramen was, mosty because I didn't finish it. Their Tempura was also just so oily and heavy I had to toss that out as well. The service was good for ordering through Yelp and picking up takeout, but they did manage to forget to addd a Shortrib I had paid for as an add on to my Ramen. Since there aren't options in this immediate vicinity, I would decide on a different lunch in that hood.
It's fine. Nothing to write home about. A very good option for lunch when you need a quick service.
Great ramen place for when you want a cheap and casual night out. The service here is incredibly quick, and the servers are always so friendly. They have a nice selection of appetizers, sushi rolls, and ramen. I've only gotten the original and spicy pork ramen, but I've really enjoyed them both – looking forward to trying more!
Hanging out w/ mom and bumped into this place – she was in the mood for noodles
It was work day lunch time busy so we had to be seated at the sushi bar. It was cool, our waiters were attentive nonetheless. I asked for more dressing for my salad and I got it right way. I love ginger salad dressing!
She enjoyed her Ramen w/ Shrimp & Vegetables and I the Shrimp Tempura Bento Box- if I had any concern it would be that the Shumai were cold. It ate them yet I would've preferred them hot.
I call it a win when you hit a spot up on a whim and the food is good.
